Raama slays the Rakshasas who were trying to defile the Yagya of Sage Vishwamitra and other Rishis, the task from which he had accompanied the Sage.

In this episode is about Sage Viswamitra, a very important person in Bharatiya Parampara. We will see him start as a King and commit himself to austerities to become a Brahma Rishi.

We will start the series with the Itihāsā - Rāmāyaṇam. The story is based on the book by C.Rajaji published by Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan.  This is the first chapter – Conception, capturing the context around Rāmā’s birth
