  • It'll Be Alright In The Nineties - S4 E23 - 'New Kids on the Block, slammed by Peters' (Saturday Morning Kids TV)

It's Saturday, it's 9.25am, it's the 90s...where else are you likely to be, other than in front of your TV? Rather unbelievably, it's taken us this long to turn our attention to our favourite Saturday morning kid's TV from the decade, so strap yourselves in as there's much to discuss. Listen along with your recently re-instated, but still shame faced, presenters as we discuss memorable phone numbers, Brummie puppets, teenage video games experts who may or may not have existed, and Marlon from Emmerdale's agent.

Also this time: Mark Bosnich scores a penalty! A legal win! The most 90s name! And much, much more...

Midget's new single 'She's My Heroine' can be found here.

The Diggit and Mashed clips that we discuss can be found here.

The SMTV Live Pokemon / Westlife skit can be found here.

We urge you to watch the videos along with us as we discuss our thoughts on each one. The links to each one can be found below.

  • It'll Be Alright In The Nineties - S4 E21 - 'JAMIE!!' (Movies of 1996)

It's the continuation of another of our 'year-by-year' series this time on IBAITN, as the boys discuss their favourite movies of 1996!

Tune in to find out which movie eased Alex into the world of Shakespeare, which 7% Rotten Tomato rated movie Stu still cherishes and was recommended to him by a future podcast collaborator, and whether Alex or Stu have seen any of the movies that the other has picked (spoiler - they haven't). Also, they take on a quiz kindly prepared by brother of the pod Adam, who will be back for another movies episode in the near future - all will become clear!

  • It'll Be Alright In The Nineties - S4 E20 - ‘I’m Just Not Very Good at Playing Basketball’ (Video Games of 1993)

We're continuing our series of episodes on the computer games of the 90s, year-by-year, and we've landed on 1993 this time. It's early in the gaming life of young Stu, but Alex was deep in the midst of Amiga gaming and it shows in his choices. Stu and Alex each choose the three games of 1993 that meant the most to them, and why.

Tune in to find out what game was adored by Alex but challenged by the tabloids, which game has left Stu with only one memory - reading the instructions in the back of a mk2 Cavalier, and whether Alex or Stu ever actually completed any of these games.

Also this time: A quick quiz! More 90s fragrance chat! Anecdote Roulette! And much, much more!

  • Now That's What I Call Alright in the 90s - "Two Tonnes of Gravel" - NOW 43 with Now That's What I Call Bulls**t

We disappointed our listeners last time by not releasing an episode (due to perfectly valid extenuating circumstances involving Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson), so our friends Kathryn and Dan from the Now That's What I Call Bullshit podcast took pity on us and have generously offered us the opportunity to premier the episode of NTWICB we recorded with them recently. We discussed the 1999 edition NOW 43, and boy are there some good tracks on here.

Tune in to find out which song impacted a young Stu Joslin more than almost any other, which of the presenters has somehow got through their whole life without having a favourite boy-band song, which Spice Girl Kathryn rates the lowest for singing, and just how few songs Dan actually recognises, let alone likes.

Thank you so much to Kathryn and Dan for letting us release this episode and thanks to Kathryn for editing the whole thing!

You can listen to the back catalogue of Now That's What I Call Bull$h!t here.

  • It'll Be Alright In The Nineties - Another Apology

As per the terms of his contract, Stu drops in to apologise for another enforced pod lay-off. But please don't worry, because we will return in August with an episode on school summer holidays! Please get your correspondence and memories in - it doesn't have to be about actually going on holiday; we're interested in the things you did to keep yourself occupied during those long free weeks across the 90s.

Thanks for bearing with us and we'll be back soon!
