In Episode 58 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield do something different by looking broadly across the friendship spectrum!

Inspired by a listener submission, we start by taking on the friendship dynamics between Kylie and Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber/Baldwin. Then we also look into the long-standing friendships between besties Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King and Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire.

By taking on so many charts we discover certain similarities, like trine moons, which help create a sense of comfort and understanding beyond words. We also encounter our coveted Venus/Mars conjunctions (they aren't just good for romantic partnerships!) producing a dynamic and fun interaction between the two people. In Episode 57 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield study up on another subscriber submission of the historical coupling between Supreme Court Justice Ruther Bader Ginsberg and her husband, Law Professor Martin Ginsberg. The two had a marriage that lasted 56 years.

We begin with Ruth's birth chart and see a Pisces Stellium, denoting a deeply empathetic and compassionate person. And with an opposing Virgo stellium, she had a keen eye and execution style, allowing her to make her ideals come to life. Coupled with a Venus/Moon trine, she was always going to be in favor of women's rights and the female experience.

Next, we peer into Martin's chart and find a witty and intellectual Gemini Sun and Mercury conjunction. This fits his professor title for sure, but that's not all he was. First, we look into Nick's chart and see heavy, earthed-out energy. With a stellium in Virgo, we can tell he's a well-groomed and meticulous man. In Episode 55 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield travel back in time and take on Hollywood's first "it" coupling between Movie Stars Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. They were married not once, but twice, however both attempts ended in divorce.

First, we explore Elizabeth's birth chart and immediately hone in on her electric Venus/Uranus conjunction in Aries. To us, this explained her trial-by-fire and courage when it came to love and her relationship style. Known for her many marriages, the Jupiter trine to this conjunction, also explains the abundance of love that was at her fingertips. Adding a watery Pisces Sun and stellium, her allure, romanticism and dreaminess was tantalizing to all, but with Mars also in that sign, her ideas around masculinity (and therefore men) could have been confusing to her.

Next, we investigate Richard's chart and locate a tight Sun/Saturn conjunction. This tells us he carried a heavy weight on his shoulders, and in the sign of Scorpio, nothing ever seemed to come easily. We also find his attraction to a good reputation with his Venus in Capricorn and a worry-wart energy with a Mercury/Moon square.

Together, these two had a lot going on with their synastry! We encounter both a New Moon and Full Moon aspect between the pair and that got us excited. In Episode 54 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield take on the freshest of relationships, and one getting tons of media coverage, that being between Grammy-winning pop superstar Taylor Swift and Superbowl winner Travis Kelce. It apparently all started when Travis attempted to get his phone number to Taylor via a friendship bracelet in July and now the two seem to be spending lots of time together!

Although we've previously done Taylor's chart (see episode #12 as we worked within the ideas of friendship compatibility) this time we're going for the romance! We again note her friendly and sociable Venus in Aquarius. She also has a potent Cancer Moon that can be reminiscent, reflective, and highly emotional. Add in her moon getting a strong opposition from Uranus and we detect some erraticism, but also an ability to emotionally detach when necessary.

Next, we plunge into Travis' chart and immediately find a Sun/Mars combo in partnership-focused Libra. No wonder this guy had a dating show! However, with these ego-centered planets getting a harsh square from Jupiter, Saturn AND Neptune, his identity, drive, and individuality can be hard to access within himself. Luckily, his Sagittarius Moon brings about some vital optimism.

Looking at their synastry, together, they have the coveted Venus/Mars conjunction. It's within the tightest degrees we've ever seen and being in passionate Scorpio, we believe there's no chance this is just a PR stunt! These two absolutely have an immediate and intense attraction going on. Coupled with their Sun and Moon in the same sign of Sagittarius, their similar sense of humor and adventure feels familiar, comfortable, and exciting. In Episode 53 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield do something different and take on the upcoming 2023 October eclipses and what they mean for you! With a running time of almost two hours, you'll want to set some time aside!

With this podcast encompassing all things relationships, we found it significant that BOTH October Eclipses are in the Venus ruled signs of Libra and Taurus, and therefore involve themes of values, self-worth, and connection. In this episode we cover what an eclipse is, how eclipse cycles work, and what to learn from them when they come around (hint - they're kind of a big deal!). The Solar Eclipse at 21° Libra will occur on Saturday, October 14th and the Lunar Eclipse at 5° Taurus will occur on Saturday, October 28th.

As eclipses bring about a perspective change, we discuss what to expect when these luminaries (the Sun and Moon) meet up together in these very dramatic alignments in the sky. With an eclipse cycle lasting about two years, we cover the closing eclipse phase in Taurus/Scorpio and look to the beginning eclipse cycle in Aries/Libra. In Episode 52 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield are joined by a special guest, fellow astrologer and energy reader, Alma Davenport, who is launching her new website, www.divineperspectives.co, soon!

The three of us take on long-term (and newly divorced) couple Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness. The news of this split was shocking to everyone as the couple had been together for 27 years and share two children together. We decided to analyze their charts to see where the weak link may have been in their synastry.

First, we explore Hugh's chart and come across a social, charming, and intellectual Libra Sun (just in time for Libra season)! Although with a Saturn opposition, we know that he's equally serious, restrictive and slow-moving. We also encounter a precise Mars in Virgo, demonstrating another point of hard work and exactitude. Lastly, we see a bubbly and changeable Gemini Moon.

Next up, we look at Deborra-Lee's chart and immediately encounter half of the chart in fire signs! This makes her passionate, excited, and willful. Born under a Gemini eclipse, she can command attention and raise awareness, and does so through her work in adoption advocacy. We also run into a Scorpionic Mars making her private and deeply motivated.

Together we first find matching Gemini Moons which can feel cozy and immediately familiar to each other. We do also see a Mercury/Uranus connection that tells us there was a lot of excitement between the two, even after being married for nearly 30 years! Conversely, a Mars square to her Sun and Moon makes for a more challenging aspect, with the Mars becoming paternalistic and perhaps too sharp for her sensitivity. In episode 49 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield explore another long-term couple! With a successful 27-year marriage, popular LIVE! host, Kelly Ripa and her Husband (and now Co-Host) Mark Consuelos, definitely have some intense chemistry!

Initially we look at Kelly's chart and encounter a slew of Virgo placements, including her Rising sign. This gives her that distinct polished and meticulously put-together look, while Mercury sits on the Ascendent, providing an ever-curious intellect. Combined with her Sun in Libra (and Uranus conjunction), this is a dynamic and social humanitarian that is always wanting to hear people's stories.

Afterward, we peer into Mark's chart and immediately find a strong and willful Aries Sun. In some cases, he can be a show off, but with a soft and loving Venus in Pisces, his romantic side is equally as strong. Interestingly, we find two major T-squares involving both the Sun and the Moon - both the masculine and feminine energies are challenged here which can lead to difficulties when it comes to expression.
