This week begins the countdown to some big season finales - including ours. First - Paramount+’s third season of Evil comes to a close. And we do a deep dive into the current calamity that is Ezra Miller and WBD’s The Flash film.

This week's episode examines the falsely reported dilemma surrounding Warner Bros. Discovery's plan to merge top streamer, HBO Max, with the lower-rated Discovery+ next year. Are we witnessing the cable-ification of peak TV? And we recap the penultimate episode of Evil and Westworld while welcoming new seasons of FX on Hulu's, Reservation Dogs, and Showtime's City on a Hill. 

This week we’ll revisit the latest episodes of Westworld and Evil but close a little differently with our thoughts on Beyoncé’s official return with Renaissance: Act 1.

Brandon and Lorin sort through the multiple announcements that came courtesy of San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend. From TV to film, the titans of mainstream nerd culture presented what fans can look forward to through this year and beyond. The duo also brokedown that #Westworld reveal and a plot-pushing development in #Evil.

Brandon and Lorin breakdown the 2022 Emmy nominations which were announced last week. As they celebrate some welcomed wins (Abbott Elementary, Yellowjackets, Squid Game) they mostly question the peculiar homogony in the shows represented as a whole. They also dive into the latest episodes of Evil and Westworld. 

Brandon and Lorin preview the nerdgasm that will be San Diego Comic-Con July 20-July 24. It's the convention's first in-person event since COVID arrived two years ago. Plus we have recaps of "Well Enough Alone" (Westworld S4E2) and "The Angel of Warning" (Evil S3E6) and a very lengthy What's News that involves stranger things than Stranger Things.

This week Brandon and Lorin dissect the season four premiere of HBO's Westworld. The humans and hosts return seven years after the events of the third season finale with a familiar threat leading a new charge against humanity. They also grade the content of the second quarter as they gear up for what TV/film is coming in the next three months. They also give their SPOILER-filled thoughts on the season four finale of Netflix's Stranger Things. 

This week Brandon & Lorin recap the third episode of Evil, "The Demon of Sex," as Kristen and Sister Andrea must assist newlyweds with an intimacy problem while Ben rediscovers his inner nerd. Elsewhere we finish our Awards Watch with the shows in contention for Best Drama Series at this year's Emmys. 

This week Brandon & Lorin revive Previously On... with the season three premiere of Paramount+'s "Evil." And in their Awards Watch, they list the contenders vying for a nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series at this year's Emmys. 

This week Brandon and Lorin dissect the series in the running for Best Limited or Anthology Series. Will Oscar Isaac appear twice (Moon Knight, Scenes of a Marriage) or will the melodrama of Colin Firth and Toni Collette's The Staircase solidify a spot next to last year's favorite, The White Lotus?
