The Hollywood Foreign Press has done it again. And by IT we mean blindly selected a more than questionable list of nominations for the 2020 Golden Globes. We contrast their unusual suspects to that of the more well-rounded Critics' Choice Awards. We also touch on some 2020 film trailers, and recap our experience watching "Atlantics."

The high-yellow thespian has built a resume as diverse as Hollywood isn't: from "Big" and "Splash," to "Philadelphia" and the coming "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood." So we discuss how to handle this wave of new old things -- specifically the new and old of Disney+. B&L also talk the excellent episode of #MrRobot & #HisDarkMaterials' best episode yet.

Happy Halloween's Eve. To get into the spooky spirit, Lorin & Brandon list their top three scary movies. They recap a benign Mr. Robot & second episode of Watchmen; and, ponder on whether Apple TV+ (launching this Friday) is worth the wait. Also hear first impressions of Hulu's Castle Rock S2, and HBO's new comedy Mrs. Fletcher. 

Lorin & Brandon recap Sunday's premiere of HBO's Watchmen, based on the graphic novel and 2009 film. The two rehash a hopeful(?) episode of Mr. Robot and ponder what a second season of David Makes Man will look like.
