  • How Well Do We Know Each Other?

On today's episode, we find out which one of us knows the other best! We play a question-and-answer game to test how well we really know each other. Aspen is shocked that Ashly doesn't remember her most embarrassing moment, Ashley can't think of anything annoying about her sister, and we debate about our childhood career aspirations and whether or not Ashley pushed Aspen in first grade. We also discuss what age we think we were the most similar, things we wish adults were allowed to do, and our ideas for a Progressive Insurance commercial campaign about twins.

  • Twinspiration: Erika K. Wolf

Today on Twinspiration, we sit down with author, cancer survivor, and long-time friend Erika K. Wolf to talk about her upcoming book, Cancer and Other Things I'm Grateful For. Erika shares her cancer journey, from the moment she first noticed something was wrong, to the phone call confirming her diagnosis (that came while she was at our house), to the many people and practices that helped her through 18 long months of treatment. She tells us how she changed her outlook to focus on gratitude, and shares how she is ultimately grateful for having gone through cancer. We discuss the process of turning her story into a book, the courage it takes to make such a private story public, and what she wants to say to others dealing with cancer. Aspen is impressed at Erika's ability to tell us apart, and Ashley reminds her of how often we would fight as kids when she was at our house.

  • Weird But Not True

Kids believe the darndest things! In today's episode, we talk all about the weird and wacky stories we believed as kids.  We share how we were convinced we had a secret triplet, why we can never eat bacon, and our Grandma's sneaky lie about falling rocks that we bought into for way too long.  Ashley discusses how she went from thinking she was the long-lost princess of England to believing she could turn herself into a vampire, and Aspen admits to being incredibly paranoid from the many nights she was sure her parents had carbon monoxide poisoning to the time she prepared her family for her imminent death from a rare brain-eating amoeba.  Did you have any weird beliefs as a child?
