Dave tells everyone about his new Facebook fan page, which chronicles his radio career from his first day on air until today. Check out the original daguerreotype images taken back in the day by that new kid Matthew Brady when Dave and Jerry still had all their hair. Listeners commented on a new poll of the WORST halloween candy. Dave remembered eating some nasty halloween candy as a kid that had wax in it and he claims to have pooped a candle! You will want to light a match after digesting Episode Seventy One of "It's Called Pork Roll with Dave and Jerry!
Dave is under fire for posting a controversial image on Facebook. No, not the mink fur Lederhosen image. This one was of a grilled cheese sandwich, cut in half like a Viking took his axe to it. How crude! Listeners overlook these Neanderthal tendencies and chimed in about their absolute favorite cuts of steak and how they like it. The boys read back the comments that were PG rated. If you like your humor rare, then this is the podcast for you!
The barely post pubescent acting boys giggle nervously at the mere mention of this episode number! Dave details his latest side hustle, which became his shortest tenured position in his long and undistinguished employment career. Listeners contribute their favorite AC casinos both past and present. Is your's on the list? Find out in this latest podcast from Dave and Jerry.
"Lucy, I'm home!" Episode Sixty Eight starts with Dave and Jerry saying thanks to longtime listener George for his generous gift of Pickled Eggs, Guinness and scratch off lottery tickets. Dave and Jerry were both losers (what else is new). A discussion ensued with listeners over what age is appropriate for children to get their first smartphone. Forget Angry Birds and listen to Goofy Guys in this latest entertainment tour de force!
Episode Sixty Seven finds the boys visibly aroused over the new "It's Called Pork Roll with Dave and Jerry" merchandise. Tee shirts and mugs designed to make you the envy of all your friends. For once in your miserable life be the center of attention, this time in a good way and not in a way that will make people call the authorities. Listeners contribute the best things they did over the summer of 2019. Maybe your summer was a bust, so start fall out with a bang and enjoy another fabulous podcast from the Hair Fall Out Boys, Dave and Jerry.
All good things must come to an end. I guess that explains why this podcast keeps on going! Dave and Jerry say goodbye to summer, and Dave fills us in on his post Labor Day trip to do summer things before they close down for the season. We asked this very question to our podcast listeners, and a lot of them said they need to visit one very popular area restaurant before it closes (you have to listen to find out which one.) Hit the boardwalk one last time (or maybe for the first time this season), get that last funnel cake, take that last coaster ride and get a little nauseous listening to Episode Sixty Six.
Dave went back in the saddle last week (not talking about the incident on the news with the Horsey ride at the Acme) when he filled in as a favor for DJ John Lockwood doing trivia at Surf Dog Bar and Grill in Woodbine. Dave stepped away from his mobile DJ side job a couple of years ago because he had too much fun and made too much money. Dave and Jerry reminisced about the business and some surprises at weddings. Listeners contributed their favorite new places to eat in South Jersey. So break out those chaps and jump in the saddle with this latest edition of It's Called Pork Roll with Dave & Jerry!
Dave is back from the big Pratt family annual reunion in New Hampshire, and a great time was had by all because nobody got arrested this year (although they may not be invited back to New Hampshire next year.) Listeners contributed ideas for where they would like to have a vacation home. Whether your last getaway was to the Hawaiian Islands or to Riker's Island, you'll enjoy this edition of It's Called Pork Roll, with Dave and Jerry!
Dave is on vacation in New Hampshire, so we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to showcase some of Dave and Jerry's favorite callers to their radio show. Short and sweet (no, not another Dave's honeymoon joke) and fun to listen to.
"Where were you in '62?" On this, the 62nd episode Dave and Jerry talk about "American Graffiti" and "More American Graffiti" (poor Terry the Toad) and Jerry's recent home plumbing issues (it was wet and steamy!) Listeners tell what advice they would give if they could go back in time and talk to their teenage self (stop playing with that thing.) If you're looking for intelligent, thought provoking and morally uplifting conversation, you've got the wrong podcast.
