So below, as above, all you need is faith and trust
It takes hatred to cherish the love
How can you say you want tomorrow more than today?
Love the bad, it gives contrast, gives you a place to stay
Like a beacon beckoning forth
I love darkness for displaying her light
Holds the space that shows she's bright
I instruct, she drives, arrive to my desire by night
I love my temple as God loves all
Same thing, just more scalable
But how can fortune feel so good
Without the worst things that prevailed?
Chase your fear, it gets you high
Smooth the parts of you denied
The above poem that I wrote was read by Danish Saleem for the purpose of having a meaningful conversation on the nature of reality. We have a heavy and free-flowing conversation in regard to eliminating his spiritual blocks so that he can live a more fulfilling life. We talk about purpose, relationships, and love. A topic we discuss is whether or not God's desire to experience itself manifested everything we experience now. Join in on this fun and somewhat hard to follow discussion and let us know your perspective on the topic!
