This week’s Major Star segment is a twofer featuring two of our favourite characters in the original series: Elspet Gray as the Queen and Robert East as Prince Harry. We take a look at their respective roles in the court of Brian Blessed while touching upon Prince Harry’s well-known obsession with drains and his lesser known fear of spoons. And speaking of obsessions, we also look at how a writer’s blunder gave the humble turnip a prominent position in the Blackadder annals.

Bill talks about what he loves about the team’s third outing and why, for him, it is the quintessential series of Blackadder.
