Brett Cotter shares how his book “3 Keys to Managing PTSD: The Warrior’s Guide to Overcoming Combat Trauma”, was inspired by his father, who was a U.S.M.C. Vietnam Combat Veteran and passed away due to the long-term affects from PTSD. His vision is to deliver this book to veterans in homeless shelters all around the country. The book provides veterans with practical tools and techniques that are easy to use and are very effective.

Your host Lisa Marie Gallegos takes her turn in the hot seat as she shares her never before told story of her father's struggle with alcoholism and her husband's struggle with PTSD after fighting in Iraq. She shares how these experiences has led her to speak on childhood trauma and secondary PTSD publicly.

A couple recounts their and their 8 year old daughter's fight to survive a rare condition that rapidly took over her body. Like the movie, "Brain on Fire" on Netflix, this little girl was diagnosed with Anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis, an autoimmune disease where your body attacks itself. In a story of hope and strength, her parents courageously share how their little girl quickly disappeared before their eyes and how they were able to overcome.
