  • Doc & Son Episode 108 - The Return of Never-Known Accompanied By The Printed Paisan

Greetings, fellow listeners. Previous guest and fellow neighbor Enzo Pineiro returns to the podcast accompanied by his friend Javier Camacho who, believe it or not, is the twenty-eighth guest of the podcast (Just coming back from getting themselves tattooed at Miami Beach). Enzo and I catch up with each other the last time he was on the pod, I've never met Javi before so I get to know more about him, and we all share our opinions of the latest and most badass season of "Cobra Kai" which is now on Netflix. Also, Mom drops in the chitchat halfway through after dealing with the maintenance man to get to know Enzo a bit more and to have a little peak at their freshly-printed tattoos.

  • Doc & Son Episode 107 - He's a Splitter, He's a Trotter, He's a Slimmer, And a Survivor

Greetings, fellow listeners. For the first time in a while, the podcast took place outside the comforts of Casa Del Santi. This episode was recorded on the voice memo app on my phone from the quietness in the dining hall of Bird Bowl while my mom and I deep dive with the pod's twenty-seventh guest, local international bowling star Jim Porter. We go chakra-deep with Jim as we discuss his longtime tenure in the strike and spare biz, his three-decade long globetrotting expedition in over thirty countries, absorbing the culture and religion of every country he's settled in, and his brave and incredible battle fighting lifelong obesity and colon cancer. To thank Jim for being a swell conversation companion, I serenade him with a well-known tune from his youth, "El Paso" by Marty Robbins.

  • Doc & Son Episode 106 - Fly With Me

Greetings, fellow listeners. I, Son, venture solo for the thirty-fourth time as I give y'all a recap of the RHCP concert the previous week when I was in a state of pure euphoria jamming with a super fine gal to a group of old fogies who've managed not to lose their groove after four decades of rocking and bopping. I also express my enthusiasm for the new season of Cobra Kai which comes out on Netflix this Friday, same day as GOAT Adam Sandler's 56th birthday, now that's what I call "perfect timing". Hear me sing my excitement for the upcoming season and joy of sharing the awesomeness of the concert with you Jordyn with my rendition of RHCP's mellow hit "The Zephyr Song" from their album "By The Way" (Note: I was singing the song until I had to start over again because I messed it up halfway through).

  • Doc & Son Episode 105 - Unlimited Love and GPS Dueling

Greetings, fellow listeners. Welcome to the beginning of somber September. This episode was recorded into three parts on the voice memo app on my phone for only one very important reason: RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS!!! Me and my mom along with Ana Gonzalez, the mother of my broski Ed Gonzalez and the twenty-sixth guest of the podcast, hit the road to capture the live presence of RHCP at the Hard Rock Stadium for an unforgettable addition to my life (All while constantly debating on which GPS system is most reliable throughout the entire drive to the stadium). Huge thanks to Jordyn for sharing the awesomeness with me, sincerest welcomes to Harry for accepting my invitation, and major apologies to Rene for being unable to rock along with us. Also, happy anniversary to Ed and Grace for officially being together for the past four years. In honor of their wonderful relationship, I hold Peter Gabriel over my head for them to cherish. Much love to y'all.

  • Doc & Son Episode 104 - Can't Stop By The Way

Greetings, fellow listeners. Hasn't been that long since my last solo expedition. I return to venture by myself for the thirty-third time by sharing my pride and passion of exceeding the 100th episode mark of the podcast and to continue producing more episodes, breaking the news of getting VIP tickets to see Jeff Ross for the second time and Kevin Smith for the third time in Orlando for a screening of "Clerks III" in October, and I share with you my excitement for the upcoming RHCP concert next week with my versions of their hit song " By The Way" from their eponymous album and "Black Summer" from their most recent album "Unlimited Love".

  • Doc & Son Episode 103 - For He's A Jolly Good Grandpa

Greetings, fellow listeners. A special episode this is for it was recorded again on my grandfather's birthday and it was a delightful chat we had with my mom playing co-anchor. We discuss what we've done to celebrate his 84th year living on this planet, talk about his and my grandmother's slow and tedious physical rehabilitation for the past seven months, shower him with flattery of him being the best grandfather and father that ever existed, and I honor his existence with singing "Unchained Melody" by Elvis and "Father and Daughter" by Paul Simon (Note: 30 seconds halfway in the conversation is missing due to technical errors. Things just happen for a reason)

  • Doc & Son Episode 102 - The British Have Come Back! The British Have Come Back!

Feast your ears on this gobsmacking chit chat, fellow listeners! Robert Sealey, aka English Bob, has returned to the scene of the pod after a lengthy absence of sixth months. Whilst still connected with each other via cellular device, last we'd encountered ourselves was at my birthday celebration three months prior. Glad to rekindle with a swell ol' chap and delighted that father was able to partake in the colloquy to display his knowledge and fascination in British history and culture to Robert and we express our dismay on cancel culture. Never have I ever felt so gay (In the most non-homosexual way possible) to be reacquainted with a jolly good ol' chum. We also pay our respects to late comedy legend Robin Williams on what today is the eighth anniversary of his tragic passing.

  • Doc & Son Episode 101 - Runnin' Rene Goes Forth

Greetings, fellow listeners. Rene Rivero, my favorite recurring guest, comes back on the pod for the FOURTH time! While we keep in contact, we haven't seen each other since my birthday party three months ago and I'm so happy to have him back. Mom joins in on the conversation of us catching up with each other in which we fill Rene in on missing out on me getting sick from smoking the Nicaraguan cigar that he brought for me on my birthday, what he's been going through with financing and parenting for the past three months, and babbling idiotically about wanting conspiracies, time travel, and extra-terrestrial beings to be real as ever. All this goes on whilst we feast gloriously on Mexican cuisine.

  • Doc & Son Episode 100 - D & S Centurion Special

Guess what, fellow listeners? WE'VE MADE IT TO EPISODE 100!!! Starting almost a year and a half ago with just a Blue Snowball microphone hooked up to a laptop, the format has expanded from me and my dad talking about a certain subject for 5-20 minutes to talking with other people for 45-120 minutes about anything interesting. I've worked my ass off editing the audio and uploading it on the net for the past 18 months and I never would've been able to do it without the support and encouragement from all you wonderful pod fans. To commemorate reaching this milestone, we brought back the very first guest we booked on the podcast: Armando Cabane, my dad's best friend of 40 years. We catch up with each other since our last encounter, reminisce about his appearance as our first guest, and praise him for his contribution to the podcast's success. I thank Armando and I thank YOU, fellow listeners.

  • Doc & Son Episode 99 - The Show Must Go On

Greetings, fellow listeners. Captured on the voice memo app on my phone while walking home back from Hole in the Wall last night, I embark solo for the thirty-second time as I continue to keep on producing more and more to keep the pod going on. Hear me slave away my determination with my rendition of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' soothing song "I Could Have Lied".
