Greetings, fellow listeners. Captured on the voice memo app on my phone while walking home back from Hole in the Wall last night, I journey solo for the thirty-first time as I continually wish my brother for life Ed a spectacularly happy 22nd birthday and talk about pre-recording the 100th episode of the podcast and bringing back on the very first guest we had on, Armando Cabane. Ever since he came on, the pod has had a series of successful bookings of interesting people and I've been driven to continue this fruitful endeavor. Hear me honor my brotendo's birthday with my rendition of "Weird" Al Yankovic's parody of "Lola" by The Kinks which he called "Yoda". Happy birthday, McNuggs.
Greetings, fellow listeners. Happy belated Independence Day! Captured on the voice memo app on my phone from the comfort of my grandparents' home, I spew solo for the thirtieth time as I give you another update on my ongoing acid reflux and how I desperately want to feel better and not go through the agonizing feeling of hurling up a lung. I also fill in seven minutes of dear air with my rendition of the Red Hot Chili Peppers classic hit "Under the Bridge".
Greetings, fellow listeners. On my own for the twenty-ninth time, I give y'all the status of my on-going acid reflux and dull, downtrodden, directionless easy existence as I record myself on the voice memo app on my phone while walking back home from the gym feeling like absolute elephant dung. If what I talk about doesn't make any sense, then just listen to Pink Floyd give you the diagnosis of my condition.
Greetings, fellow listeners. What you're about to hear is probably the most awkward interaction that's happened on the podcast. For almost half of the entire episode, I try to think of topics to talk about with guest twenty-five Damien Stevens, former neighbor and now family friend and physical therapist, while my dad is busy brewing his coffee leaving me hanging in an uncomfortable position. When he finally DOES show up with his cup of Joe, we spend the remainder of the chat discussing how we became to befriend Damien, his job as a physical therapist, his hobbies of carpentry and photography, and how carrying his pet bulldog Lola makes me LOL.
Shalom, goys and shiksas! What you're about to hear is probably the most Jewish conversation that's ever occurred on this podcast. Me and my parents chew the fat with our twenty-fourth guest of the pod who is closely acquainted with a previous guest that's been on: Bob Sandler, owner and manager of Outrageous Bagels emporium located at Kendall Place shopping center. Bob is acquainted with former podcast guest Lenny Castells, whom they've been best friends since college. Bob discusses how he got into the restaurant business, serving his goods to the public, how we befriended each other through Lenny, our common love of the hit sitcom "Seinfeld", and how the last two parts of his name coincidentally sound like the name of the GOAT ADAM F***IN' SANDLER!!! The parley is mostly done 85% by my parents because the other 15% of me was trying to hold back by constant stomach irritations.
Greetings, fellow listeners. A super spectacular day for today is my mom's birthday! Listen to this mother-son conversation I captured on the voice memo app on my phone which is of me and Mom talking about the upcoming events of the day over scrumptious Outrageous bagels and coffee, specifically on Mom spending the entire day in the hospital with my grandfather for the procedure on his back. Hear my rendition of the legendary Elton John's smash hit "Tiny Dancer" as Mom's birthday encore.
Greetings, fellow listeners. WELCOME TO JUNE!!! Forget about the rainy depression that occurred over Memorial Day weekend and start the sunny Gemini season by tuning out to this big bowl-full-of-wonderful post-scrumptious Mexican dinner conversation my mom and I had with the podcast's twenty-second and twenty-third guests: Harry Moreira and Daniela Membreno, an airline maintenance man and behavioral analyst who I befriended at Hole in the Wall and invited over to my house to have a taste of my mom's heavenly Mexican cooking. For the duration of a delightful hour and ten minutes, we gabble about the first time we met at Hole, instantly befriending each other, encouraging me with opportunity suggestions for my future, and the special love Daniela and I share for mega hit TV shows "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul". In fact, I serenade Daniela with my rendition of "Baby Blue" by Badfinger, the song played in the greatest series finale of the greatest TV show of all time.
Note:
Happy 85th birthday to the godly MORGAN FREEMAN!!!
It was 55 years ago TODAY that all the lonely people started getting better by getting high with a little help from their friends when the Beatles took a trippy turn with the release of their groundbreaking album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"
Greetings, fellow listeners. Coming to you sick and solo for the twenty-eighth time from the comforts of Casa del Santiago, I give you the latest update on my cruddy condition, a recap of the unforgettable events of Orlando MegaCon, begrudgingly honoring the 45th anniversary of "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope", respectfully honoring the second anniversary of the murder of George Floyd, and attempting to spread world peace with the strong and powerful Sam Cooke message "A Change is Gonna Come". For the suffering victims of Ukraine and the mourners of the Robb Elementary School massacre in Texas, I give thee my rendition of the relevant Guns N' Roses ballad "Civil War".
Greetings, fellow listeners. I spew it to you solo for the twenty-seventh time with my most recent episode of nearly hurling from the scent of cigar smoke and my excitement for Orlando MegaCon this weekend. If I've already put you to sleep with the monotonic sound of my voice, then just listen to my rendition of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' hit song "Venice Queen" from their album "By the Way" to wake you up.
Greetings, fellow listeners. I venture on a solo no-holds-barred odyssey for the twenty-sixth time in which I spew out the tough week I've had due to my grandmother winding up in the hospital again and the outrageous fact that Monty Python legend John Cleese just cancelled his appearance at MegaCon. I also honor the memory of late comedy legend George Carlin on what would've been his 85th birthday today and express my suppressed anger and rage of Cleese's cancellation through my rendition of the hit song "Who Are You" by The Who (All this once more recorded on the voice memo app on my phone).
Long live the Bristly Uncle of America...
