This is the last episode of 2019 and I have decided to do a blog to go along with each episode starting…now. With 2020 about to begin I wanted to give my listeners an idea of what to expect in the next year. When I started this podcast the idea was to focus on things that I love. If you haven’t figured it out by listening to the show with your earholes, but I am an adult child. I love video games, movies, comics, sci fi, psychadelics, and good weed. You know…all of the things they tell you not to carry into adulthood. I also love to learn more about the things that pique my interest. I am extremely grateful for all of the guests I have had so far, but my goal in 2020 is to expand my reach and get even more interesting people to come on the Itty Bitty Podcast.
I smoke a lot of weed and as I’m getting older I worry that I am going to get dumber. Prior to podcasting I worked a retail job selling cell phones, and one of the things I noticed is that a lot of older people think that there is a point where you stop having to learn. Fuck! That! On this show whether you’re a moron like me or super smart like that robot guy in the wheelchair whose always trying to terrify us with whatever new A.I. is going to completely fuck us up in the future, you’re welcome to listen and learn with me on my show. I’m in no way a genius and I think these blogs will barely count as writing, but I am going to continue to work on this show, Choice Nugs Only, and any of the new shows I’ll be launching in the future. If you listened to the most recent episode (23) you’ll know that I have some major changes coming soon, both in my podcasting and my personal life.
I’m working on getting our show up and running with video, but I’m learning this shit as I go. I’ve also put a lot of work into our show Choice Nugs Only and if you’re a listener of that show you know that we have had some issues. I am trying to rework the format of that show and come up with something that works. I am pumped for what the future holds for both of these shows. I hope that my listeners will continue to support the show as we grow and find our way in the world. I feel like I have found a home in podcasting. It feels comfortable and uncomfortable at the same time. I would imagine that’s what anal sex feels like. While we’re on the subject of being uncomfortable, I might as well talk about my next guest.
Tom Williams is part owner of the company Desert Island Survival and the name pretty much tells you the exact service that they offer. Tom’s company takes you to an island of your choice, teaches you the skills necessary to survive, and then they leave you for dead…Just kidding it’s not that intense, but you do get the experience of living off of the island. We get into all of that stuff on the podcast. We also got a few stories from Tom’s personal adventures and they were wild. I really enjoyed talking with him and hearing his story. Next week on the show we’ll be talking about magic mushrooms or psilocybin if you’re more intelligent than me. This is not a podcast about desert island survival. It’s the Itty Bitty Podcast and it’s anything but!
