In which your friendly neighborhood super PAC invites occult interference in the 2020 election. While podcasts aren't normally described as action-packed, we've got a surprise for you today. We'll be offering a behind the scenes look at the making of the now-infamous IXNAY sigil and exploring the intersection of witchcraft and politics with some smart, interesting, and funny folks.
First up the charming Professor Sabina Magliocco on the How's and Why's of sigil magic; then prolific author and world renowned expert of all things occult Gary Lachman with the historical who's and what ifs of conjuring up a world wide magical resistance; and last but hardly least the actual witches Shane Bugbee and Miss Lillian Lux who created and powered the IXNAY sigil.

Welcome to a special episode of the IXNAY podcast featuring a song we've written specifically to end the Trump presidency. What started as a rap during his Senate impeachment trial has morphed into a proper parody song, ready-made to go viral. With your help and ours, his days in the White House are surely numbered.
Its called IXNAY (The Subpoeña Colada Song) and it's performed by Har Mar Superstar, Eli Janney, and Seth Jabour with lyrics by Trace Crutchfield.
Head to IXNAYPAC.org to get a high-quality download of the song for just $1, with all proceeds going to support our efforts to get out the vote this November.
Lyrics:
I was tired of his WINNING
With everyday our country reeling
If you like Subpoeña Coladas,
If you like tweeting out at midnight,
Now Rupert Holmes is a hero
So I wrestled with my conscience
(So) If you like Subpoeña Coladas,
If you like tweeting out at midnight,
Yes I like Subpoeña Coladas,
You can cheat on your golf course
Words: Trace Crutchfield

In this episode: We pay tribute to RBG with a pledge to defeat Donald Trump by becoming what he most fears; IXNAY co-conspirator Tim Kinsella talks to us about how taking action this election season is the greatest anti-anxiety medication he's found; and we discuss freedom, social justice, and other terms that make up IXNAY's Seven Not-So-Dirty Words with the man who puts the "active" in activism: Bill Ayers. Bill also just started a highly educational and inspirational new podcast you'll want to check out, called Under the Tree: A Seminar on Freedom.
The election is upon us. It's now or never. Don't just stand there, do something. Be the dynamite.

With Trump encouraging trigger happy citizens to get in-between police and protestors, we'd like share a first hand account of the deadly interaction from the frontlines of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
After the Jacob Blake shooting and ensuing nights of unrest burned down local businesses, Jim Mallardo made a decision.
He and his friends would attend a downtown protest armed, not with automatic weapons, designed to kill human beings, but with fire extinguishers.
This is the story of a group of local skateboarding friends who took the unusual approach to be both protestor & protector.
Their intent was not to discourage protest or even resistance, but to be present to save things that make their city a community. There was a hope they could at least mitigate the unnecessary destruction that's been happening under the cover of civil disobedience in cities across America.
As you will hear, Jim's decision to take to the streets that night as a kind of civic caretaker, as admirable as it was, put him and his friends in a surprisingly tough spot.
They hadn't imagined their turn at good samaritan would put them in the crosshairs of 3 competing groups.
They'd be forced to contend with what Jim calls "the inciters" or protestors just there to fuck shit up but also the armed and unqualified cosplayers, like Kyle Rittenhouse, one of the wannabe Facebook militiapeople given tacit license by the powers that be, to shoot people dead.
Plus of course local police, who in playing at soldier while clearing the streets that night, had squeezed the protestors, including Jim and his friends into what turned out to be a kill zone.

In this episode: We talk to American iconoclast Jello Biafra about Trump, Biden, Kamala, and a dizzying array of other political figures as we try to figure out how to navigate the current maelstrom. If you're unfamiliar with the man most famous for fronting the Dead Kennedys, just give him a couple minutes of your time. There's no one like him and Jello remains one of the wildest rhetorical rides in American culture. Plus an important scene report from the front lines in Portland, Oregon, and our top tips on how get un-arrested when you get caught wheat-pasting your IXNAY posters.

In this episode: We talk to the one and only Anthony Scaramucci. Fresh off a Twitter fight with the President of the United States, you can be sure that he pulls no punches on on Trump and his utter inability to do his job. Oh but there's more... so much more. We talk Biden & the economy, Peter Navarro, and utilitarian philosophy.

RVAT's latest project collects video testimonials from former Trump voters who have had a change of heart, and you can bet they stand a better job of nudging your uncle toward Biden than you can.
We’ll also go the IXNAY hotline for a fabulous scene report from Chloe Newsom in glamorous Southern California.
Oh, and regarding all those StormTrumpers in the streets of American cities? There's no time like the present to let your senators & members of Congress know how you feel about 'em. Fastest way to do it? Try Resistbot.

Does the news feel like it's on repeat? Yes it does. Everyday The Donald does something dumb and or harmful for America. Trump fatigue, COVID fatigue, Fatigue Fatigue.
Tweet, rinse, repeat.
Since repeats are all the rage, here are some of our favorite moments from IXNAY podcast guests who've spared the Donald no quarter: Alethea Brown, David Guinan, William Arkin, Dave Karpf, & Jeff Sharlet.
