The story I share today is called Honey Buns and I wrote it when I was younger for someone who liked pictures. The book is aimed at children and is very simple and short. After hearing the story, you’ll hear me play a song called Borderline by Tame Impala. Recently, I went to the cinema and watched Venom 2 and I talk about how this was a good movie as well. Today we go ahead and talk about and summarise a book called Red Rising. This is a very enjoyable book and it’s great if you would like to read it. I do wish that I mentioned the book has coarse language in it from chapter to chapter sometimes. Overall it’s a great book and I hope you liked this summary that I have given it today. At the end of the episode, you will hear me share a song called Heads Will Roll and I share this song because Darryl the main character in the book does say he thinks his head will roll while he’s in the arena. In the shorter episode this morning, I talk about Bob Marley and his contributions to music. He was a Jamaican that helped grow the love for reggae music. The song played at the end of the episode is a song that I learnt recently called Redemption Song and it was the last song on his album Uprising that was released in 1980. Enjoyable movies are my type of thing so I decided to talk about a movie I watch last night called Ex Machina. Also, last week I finally received a busking license approval. From receiving my busking license, I learnt that if it first you don’t succeed try again. The first time I applied for a busking license was in January or February and that attempt did not pass. After waiting longer and continuing to practice, I received my busking license. The song you get at the end of the episode is the song that I learnt from YouTube called Last Kiss by Pearl Jam.
