In 2024-25, Ivey was averaging a career-high 17 points per game in his first 30 games. On December 26, 2024, Ivey hit a game-winning 4-point play to help Detroit beat Sacramento 114-113. On January 1, 2025, Ivey suffered a broken fibula and had successful surgery on January 2 and is expected to miss the remainder of the NBA regular season.
Today on the podcast, we talk to Jaden Ivey, just days after his injury about how his recovery is going and trusting God in the highs and lows of life. Ivey emphasizes that true fulfillment comes from a relationship with Jesus, not from worldly success, and he encourages others, no matter their circumstances, to share the love of Christ in their lives.
