We cove the four key principles that Christian believers can apply to rekindle the fire of their expectations when going into the house of the Lord.
Praying before service.
Preparing your tithe and offering before service.
Fasting on service days or at least limiting your food consumption on service days.
Dress the part (put effort into your church attire).I sit down with our special guest Christian to discuss why it is important if not critical that Christian Believers should keep the habit of going into the Lord’s House. Some call it the temple of the Lord while others call it “Church”
Our guest Christian will share the benefits of maintaining this habit. He also cautions Christian believers who have fallen into the trap of attending online church believing it can make up for in-person attendance.
Hebrews 10:25 (AMPC) says; Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.
Christian admonishes that the most important thing we should all carry with us to the House of God is our expectation of him to move mightily in our lives during service.
For many Christian believers going to church has become a checklist item for the end of the week. They have no zeal, desire and worse, they don’t go into the House of the Living God with any expectation of him impacting and changing their lives through his wonder-working power!!!
With the rise of dead churches all around the world - churches where the power of God isn’t manifested or experienced by their congregation…
No wonder outsiders have now put the God of the Christian Faith in the same bracket as other gods!!!
The Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:4; “…my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:..”
He also adds in 1 Corinthians 4:20 that “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power…”
And in 1 Thessalonians 1:5, Paul re-emphasizes that: “…our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost,...”
Because the only differentiator of religions or what has always separated the Living God of the Christian Faith from all other gods has always been His power manifested through miracles signs and wonders.
However Christian shares the four key principles on how every Believer can rekindle the fire of their expectation and see God manifest His power in their lives every time they go into his house.
