James Gunn and Peter Safran, the co-CEOs of DC Studios, are moving forward with a diverse slate of new projects for DC's cinematic universe. Announcements include a Supergirl movie titled "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow", based on the Tom King comic, and "The Authority," a movie about a team of anti-heroes with a "ends justify the means" mentality. Other reported projects in development, but not yet officially announced, include a Clayface adaptation. The announcements signal a renewed focus and vision for DC films under Gunn and Safran's leadership.
