Free school meals should be given to 800,000 children living in poverty in England but who are not currently eligible to receive them, says a new campaign backed by famous chiefs such as Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Jamie Oliver.

The Feed The Future campaign claims expanding school meals to those households on universal credit has benefits which means the policy will pay for itself.

The BBC’s Nick Robinson spoke to Jamie Oliver about the benefits that would accrue from expanding the free school meal programme.
