Bill Wiese, author of 23 Minutes in Hell, shares on his experience and the reality of hell. The Bible tells us to live for Christ. As we live for Christ, an urgency and compassion will help us reach people who may not know that eternity is in heaven or hell.

1. We Demand - God’s A Mighty Warrior And Chain Breaker, So Are You

Prov 24:11 Rescue those being led away to death, and restrain those stumbling toward the slaughter

● Save – Rescue, to strip, plunder, be delivered, and snatch away Matt 11:12 The kingdom of heaven suffers violent assault, and violent
men seize it by force [as a precious prize]

● Violent - A forceful, violent man; one who is eager in pursuit
Is 49:25 (nlt) Even those taken away by the strong man will be taken from him. Those taken by the powerful ruler will be saved. For I will fight with the one who fights with you, and I will save your children. 

Ps 107:10,13-16 Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains, 13 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them . 14 He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. 15 Let them give thanks to
the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, 16 for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron

2. Jesus Always Sends You Back – Staying Broken And Dependent
Ex 4:19 Go back to Egypt, all the men who wanted to kill you are dead
Ps 107:2 Has the LORD redeemed (saved) you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed (Saved) you from your enemies

Ps 66:16 Come and hear And I will tell of what He has done for my soul Ps 34:6 This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, and saved him
out of all his troubles

Mk 5:19-20 “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” 20 So the man went away and began to proclaim throughout the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And everyone was amazed

3. Now More Than Ever We Must Boldly Proclaim This Gospel Of Freedom

1 Cor 9:16 If I spread the Good News, I have nothing to brag about because I have an obligation to do this. How horrible it will be for me if I don't spread the Good News

Lk 9:62 No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God

Prov 24:10-12 (mess,lb) If you faint in a crisis, you are weak. Rescue the perishing; don’t hesitate to step in and help. If you say, “Hey, that’s none of my business,” will that get you off the hook? Someone is watching you closely, you know Someone not impressed with weak excuses

Acts 26:17-19 (nlt) I am sending you to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given an inheritance among God’s people 19 And so, King Agrippa, I obeyed that vision from heaven
Esther 4:14 For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this

Hear The Cries Of The People - Called To Be A Compassionate Warrior

1. What You See Maybe Your Reality But It Is Not Your Destiny

What did David Do: He Prayed ·He Encouraged Himself

David: He Prayed -Encouraged Himself -Inquired of the Lord -Pursued after It -He Gave and then Recovered ALL

Your Battles should Make you more Compassionate and More Generous “For who will heed you in this matter? But as his part is who goes down to the battle, so shall his part be who stays by the supplies; they shall share alike” - I Samuel 30:24 NKJV

“Then they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David; and they gave him bread and he ate, and they let him drink water” I Samuel 30:11 NKJV

Why does God take pleasure in our prosperity?

Ps 35:27 Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

Ps 66:12 (Har) you brought us out to abundant prosperity 

Deut 28:11 (RSV) the Lord will make you abound in prosperity

Jer 29:11 (net) I have plans to prosper you

1. Blessed to be a blessing - Our giving helps to bring His freedom

Gen 12:2 I will bless you [abundantly], And make your name great (exalted, distinguished); And you shall be a blessing [a source of great good to others]

Gal 3:13-14,18 Christ has redeemed us from the curse 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 18 The inheritance is by promise.

• Lord, make me a blessing - Our giving allows us to experience people’s lives being changed right in front of our eyes every week 

Acts 10:38 God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power He went about doing good (deeds, kind service, philanthropy) and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

2. Giving moves us into God’s realm, it’s a major key to prospering 

Matt 7:11 how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Rom 8:32 how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Ps 37:4 He shall give you the desires of your heart.

2 Cor 9:6,8 [remember]: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to others] will also reap generously [and be blessed].  And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity.

3. Our giving builds us Eternal rewards that last forever and ever 

Matt 25:34-40 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35  for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

Ps 145:13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom

Jn 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. 1. They Were Generous Because They Experienced A Life Style Of Freedom

Luke 8:2-3 (kjv) And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities (tlb) among them were Mary Magdalene (Jesus had cast out seven demons from her) 3 Joanna, Chuza's wife (Chuza was King Herod's business manager and was in charge of his palace and domestic affairs), Susanna, and many others who gave from their private means to
the support of Jesus and his disciples

● Healed (therapeu) therapy this represents repeated action, as a patient who visits their doctor over and over until they recover

● Life Style Of Freedom - these woman were delivered in an encounter but once the spirits left, the healing and renewing process continued

● Infirmities (asthenia) sickness, weakness and poor health, they also were delivered and went through a physical healing process

● Sometimes Healing comes immediately and sometimes it’s a process

2. Mary Magdalene Was Generous Because Of Her Intense Deliverance

Luke 7:36-47 37 A woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, 38 and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. 39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is — that she is a sinner." 40 Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to tell you." 47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven — for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little

● The anointing on Jesus exorcised power to drive those demons out
● They fled in terror to escape the intense pressure he put on them
● Loyalty Born - All of that turmoil was in little Mary but when he freed her all she wanted to do was follow and bless him until the very end

Lk 24:10 Very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 10 It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna

4. Joanna's Generosity Was Born Out Of A Family Miracle

Jn 4:47-53 When this man heard that Jesus had arrived he went to him and begged him to come and heal his son, who was close to death. 49 The royal official said, "Sir, come down before my child dies." 50 Jesus replied, "You may go. Your son will live." The man took Jesus at his word and departed. 51 While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living. 52 When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, "The fever left him yesterday at the seventh hour." 53 Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, "Your son will live." So he and (all his household believed)

5. Susana And Many Others – Our Giving Affects Us Now And It Last Forever

Luke 12:33-34 (niv) Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also

Matt 19:21 If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven

Ps 112:7-9 (tlb) He does not fear bad news, nor live in dread of what may happen. For he is settled in his mind that Jehovah will take care of him. 8 That is why he is not afraid but can calmly face his foes. 9 He gives generously to those in need. His deeds will never be forgotten. He shall have influence and honor

Deut 15:10 Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to

You Can't Stop Me

1.   Satan's Job Is To Try To Wear Us Out And To Stop The Work 

1 Thess 2:18 We wanted to come to you but Satan hindered us

Dan 7:25 (amp) And he shall speak words against the Most High [God] and shall wear out the saints of the Most High with persecution

Neh 4 (paraphrased) When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became angry and was greatly incensed. He ridiculed them 2 What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble burned as they are?” 3 “What they are building even a fox climbing up on it would break down their wall of stones!” 4 Hear us, our God, for we are despised. Turn their insults back on their own heads. 6 So we rebuilt the wall fill all of it reached half its height, for the people worked with all their heart. 7 But when they heard that the repairs to the walls had gone ahead and that the gaps were being closed, they were very angry. 9 But we prayed to our God 10 Meanwhile, the people in Judah said, “The strength of the laborers is giving out, and there is so much rubble that we cannot rebuild the wall.” 14 After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don't be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.” 15 When our enemies heard that we were aware of their plot and that God had frustrated it, we all returned to the wall, each to our own work

•    Satan sends opposition to distract us from fellowship with the Lord

•    He wants to draw our attention from the Lord and put it on Him

2.  In Prayer We Receive Strength To Conquer And To Win Every Battle

 Jn 15:5-8 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned

•  We were never created to live independent of Him Isa 45:5 I am the Lord, I will strengthen you

•     Strength - A force, an army, wealth, power, valor, strength

Ps 27:3-6 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident. 4 One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. 5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock. 6 Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy

•    David's attitude went from distress to strength and to shouts of joy Ps 84:7 They go from strength to strength (grow stronger as they go)

2 Sam 22:30,33,40 by you I can run through a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall 33 God is my strength and power, 40 You have armed me with strength for the battle (caused my enemies to bow down)

Ex 15:13 The LORD is a warrior, the LORD is His name....

•    If the Lord is a warrior then his strength makes you a warrior Ps 18:2 It is God who arms me with strength

Is 40:30-31 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
