Mk 4:26-29 A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come

1. Get the Seed, the Word from God and Plant it Deep in Your Heart  

Josh 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful

• We plant the Word and water it by hearing and confessing it
• The heart is the soil of our garden, what we plant today we will reap 
• Meditate – to reflect, to mutter, to ponder, to make a quit sound to self, and to contemplate something as one repeats the word

2. Guard Your Heart While Walking by Faith – Passing All the Tests

Prov 4:23 (nlt) Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life

Mk 4:15-19 As soon as they hear it Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. Others hear the Word and at once receive it with joy But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away Others like seed sown among thorns, hear the Word; but the worries of life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful

• Trouble - passing the attack against your courage test 

Josh 1:9 This is my command: be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go

• Persecutions – passing the offense and fear of man test

Heb 12:15 Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting (defiling and making useless) many

• Worries - passing the fear and anxiety test

Matt 6:25 I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life (Worry is a useless habit) 

• Deceitfulness of wealth test – breaking the ego and status seeking 

Heb 13:5 Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you”

• If we’re not content with God, more will never be enough #Imblessed
• Desire for other things – conquering our flesh, the world and devil 

Gal 6:7-8 Don’t be misled, you cannot mock God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature 

• Passing these motive tests are the qualifiers for the Promise Land 

Mk 4:20 Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the Word, accept it, and produce a crop some thirty, some sixty, some a hundredfold 

3. Time to Reap - Whatever He Tells You to Do Obey #faithfacts 

Ps 1:1-3 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither whatever they do prospers

1. It Is the Spirit of Faith That Gives Us Access Into Our Promise Land

2 Cor 4:13 I believed; therefore I have spoken. Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak

Num 13:1-2 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel;”

Num 13:31-33 Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” 32  And they gave the children of Israel a bad report 33 Were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight

Heb 4:2 (net) For we had good news proclaimed to us just as they did. But the message they heard did them no good, since they did not join in with those who heard it in faith 

• Instead of entering the land in 14 days they wandered 40 Years

Num 14:4, 9 They said “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.” 9 do not rebel against the Lord nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread their defense is departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them

2. The Promises of God Always Come with His Strategies  

Deut 3:28 But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see

• Some promises have private instruction and some have corporate 

Josh 1:11 Go through the camp and tell the people, 'Prepare your provisions, for within three days you will cross the Jordan to go in and take possession of the land that the LORD your God is giving you’ 

• Every step into promise land requires different steps of obedience
• Corporate blessing or private blessing always come with instructions

Js 2:17,22 Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 22 (nlt) his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete

• Noah build a boat, Abraham sacrifice Isaac, Isaac sow in famine, Joseph save seven years, Elijah bring me a morsel first, Jesus sit them in groups of fifty, fill the pots with water, march around Jericho

2 Sam 5:19-20,22-25 And David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you give them into my hand?” And the Lord said to David, “Go up, for I will certainly give the Philistines into your hand.” 20 And David came to Baal-perazim, and David defeated them there. 22 And the Philistines came up yet again and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim.  23 And when David inquired of the Lord, he said, “You shall not go up; go around to their rear, and come against them opposite the balsam trees. 24 And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then rouse yourself, for then the Lord has gone out before you to strike down the army of the Philistines.” 25  And David did as the Lord commanded him, and struck them down 

• Same valley, leader, enemy but different instructions #dependency
• God always knows what’s about to happen that’s why we need wisdom (put pressure on your faith for the strategy)

Deut 2:24 (nlt) Then the Lord said, ‘Now get moving! Cross the Gorge. Look, I will hand over to you the king of Heshbon, and I will give you his land. Attack him in battle and begin to occupy the land’

Josh 1:2 Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give them

Mothers of Promise

1. She Judges God Faithful in the Area of Her Children 

Hebrews 11:11 And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise

• Faithful – (emunah) firmness, stability, faithfulness, loyalty, devoted, reliable, trustworthy, dependable, steady, and remaining the same 

1 Thesselonians 5:24 The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it

Lamentations 3:23 Great is your faithfulness

Psalm 91:4 (nlt) His faithful promises are your armor and protection

Isaiah 49:25 I will fight your enemies, and I will save your children

Isaiah 54:13 All your children will be taught by the LORD, and great will be their peace

2. Mothers of Faith and Patience Always Receive from Their Father

Hebrews 6:12-15 That you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 14 God said to Him “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” 15  And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise

Numbers 14:24 Because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants (children’s children) will inherit it

• A miracle is the result of a spiritual battle won through faith 
• By faith we break family curses and release family blessing

4. A Mother’s Confidence is in God’s Grace and Goodness

● In a world of opinions, you only have to know what God thinks about you, He sees us as righteous and loves us with unconditional love

2. How Our Self-Image is Developed - Where Did We Learn All This From?

Eph 2:1 (msg) You let the world, which doesn’t know the first thing about living, tell you how to live. 

1 Jn 5:19 (nlt) We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one.

• Most have been raised in the culture and belief system of this world
• We’ve learned from the world: The news, Hollywood, music, social media, the culture, everything we learned taught us how to live apart from God and in sin which causes death and brings bondage
• Some bondages that may be present: fear, perversion, drug addiction, deception, witchcraft, pride, rebellion, unfaithfulness, depression, sickness, disease, manipulation, bitterness etc...

John 8:32 You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free

3. We Must Reject the Old Self-Image and Embrace the New Image

Eph 4:24 Put on your new nature, created to be like God

• We must believe & declare what God’s truth says about us now 

1. I am a child of God and He is now my Father 

Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God

b. I am redeemed (set free) from the hand (bondages) of the enemy 

Ps 107:2 (niv) Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story-- those he redeemed from the hand of the foe (enemy)

c. I am justified – I have peace with God and access to the peace of God

Rom 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

d. I am forgiven and the power of shame and guilt has been broken

1. Behind the Palm Leaves, Jesus Could See the Cross

Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God

• Jesus didn’t walk away, this entry was His declaration that He was the son of God, the Messiah, and the Savior of our sin
• He thought of you and me as He stepped closer to the cross

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life

• When the people cried out “HOSANNA” they were crying out “Save please! Save we pray!” and “Thank you, salvation has come”

2. Praisers Turned Into Doubters – Don’t Let the Doubts In

• He was betrayed on Thursday, the people who praised him just four days before began to yell “crucify him”, and on Friday He was crucified
• Doubt will turn you from faith to fear and will rob your blessing

2 Cor 14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place

Eph 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand

Gal 6:7,9 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap… 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart

• What have you sown for? What are you sowing for today? Hold on to the promises of God

Building with Loyal Hearts

1. Loyalty to God Means Loyalty to His House, the Local Church

1 Chron 28:9-10 Serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. 10 Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it 

• Loyal hearts - completely his, fully and wholeheartedly devoted, it also means to faithfully obey him, and totally committed 

2. Loyalty Produces Success Over Enemies and Brings Great Promotion

2 Chron 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him

2 Chron 15:14-15 They took an oath before the Lord with loud voice, with shouting and with trumpets and horns. 15 All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the Lord gave them victory on every side

Ps 89:1 I will sing of the loving devotion (loyalty) of the LORD forever

• Loyalty is the characteristic of God - We never outgive the lord, if we sow loyalty we reap His loyalty
• This is both dangerous and powerfully amazing 

Ps 89:19-24 I have placed strength on a warrior; I have raised up a young man from among the people. 20 I have found David my servant with my Holy oil I have anointed him. 21 My hand will sustain him surely my arm will strengthen him. The enemy will not get the better of him or outsmart him, the wicked will not oppress him. 23 I will crush his enemies before him and strike down his opponent. 24 My faithful love will be with him, and through my name his horn will be exalted

Acts 13:22 After removing Saul, He raised up David as their king and testified about him: 'I have found David son of Jesse a man after My own heart; he will carry out My will in its entirety'

Ps 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name

3. Giving Love and Loyalty Offerings Releases Receiving of Miracles 

Phil 4:15,19 Not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches (wealth, abundance) in glory by Christ Jesus.

Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son

• God sowed sacrificially out of love and out of His need 
• God gave expecting the law of seedtime and harvest time to work
• No farmer sows a seed and doesn’t expect a great harvest
• God’s seed He sowed broke Satan’s power and released the miracle
