This week, Jaylin is taking a headfirst dive into acknowledging her own privilege.
She takes the time this week to address the discriminatory anti-transgender legislation being introduced and passed in states across the nation in regards to restricting trans athletes ability to participate in school sports and trans minors' access to gender affirming healthcare. Jaylin speaks on not only how detrimental these laws would be, but also how they are centered around problems that don't exist. She then delves into the voter suppression legislation that has been introduced and passed all across the country in response to unsubstantiated voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Finally, she wraps up with some good news: she got the first dose of her vaccine! Jaylin shares her side effects and further reaffirms that getting vaccinated is a choice everyone should make.
Always be sure to educate often, learn freely, and love equally.
