Jaya Mata Kali with Group Mudita during a saturday evening satsang at Yoga Vidya in Bad Meinberg, Germany. More mantra kirtan mp3 recordings can be listen at https://blog.yoga-vidya.de/category/podcast/mantra/ - or as videos at https://my.yoga-vidya.org/members/Mantras/videos
Listen to the Jaya Mata Kali with the group Mudita. Here is the full text in simplified transcription:
Jay(a) Mata Kali,
Jay(a) Mata Durge
Kali Durge Namo Namaha
“Jaya Mata Kali” belongs to the particularly enthusiastic, particularly ecstatic and joyful kirtans. Like so many kirtans of the divine mother, it is a kirtan that is rousing, that opens the heart. Here the divine mother is called upon to triumph. Jaya means “victory to”, means “reverence to”, Jaya also means “long live”, Jaya also means “triumph to”. Of course, the divine mother is everywhere, she is life everywhere, that's how you can interpret it. “Jaya, obeisance to the life that is everywhere. And may I feel this divine mother.”
