The Celtics started 2020-21 with a stunning win at TD Garden, building a 17 point lead behind a dominant 31 point showing from Jaylen Brown and a second half Jayson Tatum surge. Giannis Antetokounmpo exploded for 15 points in the first six minutes to tie the game for the Bucks. Then Tatum hit his step back three with 0.4 seconds left to go ahead by two points, before Tristan Thompson fouled Giannis on a controversial lob, sending him to the line where he missed the second to finalize a 122-121 upset victory for the Celtics.
