Mike Morgan and JC Shurburtt are back to talk all things college football with a little hoops mixed in for good measure as we are rolling through Madness season. After some general intro and convo, they hit us with a fresh JC/5 from hoops to spring injuries to some thoughts on tough spots. Their most frequent guest after this appearance, Tim Brando joins the show Tim jumps right into a Geography lesson on East Texas HS sports, and they get right into the hot topic of the day with basketball and the increasing popularity of the women's game. They shift gears to the ever changing postseason landscape surrounding football, and Tim offers some wisdom for the committee as they look to increase the size of the playoffs. They wrap with some more coaching talk in the wake of the news that Jim Harbaugh is back at the NFL.

JC and Mike are in to kick off the week with a look around college football. A pesky noise tries to interfere with the interview that could only be caused by some calculated Auburn interference. They cover all the bases with the DeBoer hire, and AD, Byrne, before Chris has to leave. The JC/5 drops even in an abbreviated episode to the comfort of a waiting nation before they bid us adieu for another week.
Mike Morgan and JC Shurburtt start this week with their thoughts on the retirement of Nick Saban. The DeBoer hire is next on the agenda for Bama, and Washington landed themselves a big Fisch. The JC/5 drops with with a warning to the new head man in Tuscaloosa, and the other SEC school in the state. They look out west to the desert, acknowledge the significance of Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024, and feel the heat Byrne from Alabama's administrative office. They wrap with some portal news, and make time for a few Five & Dime submissions
