Aari McDonald had sign behind her to correctly pronounce her name as she became the first Arizona player to be drafted in the first round of the WNBA draft.  She went #3 to the Atlanta Dream.
Congrats to Igor Shesterkin for becoming first Rangers goalie since 1955 to have shutouts vs the same opponents in consecutive team games.   Rangers play a home and home vs the Devils this weekend.
Shocking to hear that back in 2016 Barry Bonds was not a good hitting coach for the Marlins.  
Congrats to Jennifer Jo Cobb first woman to race in Nascar since Danica Patrick in 2018 when she will race at Talladega on April 25th.   If you're not first, you're last!

Florida Sports Man joined me on today's podcast and keeps hyping K2.   I am a fan of Pitts but Trask to me is going to be an NFL backup.
I don't see Lefty as a top ten golfer all-time.  He's had a great career but if you're not first you're last.  And we don't give effort trophies in the game of life.
Aaron Judge has two home runs for Yanks today but Gleyber Torres is not going to cut it at shortstop this season for the Yankees.   Clint Frazier is already out as Yanks starting LF no matter what the team says.   Send him to a team that will play him every day.  PLEASE.
MNF offered a job to Charles Barkley.  He turned it down.  He would have been entertaining.

Congrat to Boston College Lacrosse player Charlotte North who scored 10 goals Saturday in 21-11 win over Va Tech.   First ACC player to score 10 goals in a game and also set a BC single game program scoring record.  
So ESPN is going to show every match of the Women's NCAA Volleyball Championships starting Wednesday.  Previously said no announcers for early round matches.   I tried contacting ESPN but couldn't get any confirmation on the early round matches having announcers.  This is being done for the first time ever having every match of the tournament being shown live.    
How about this stat on Jacob deGrom.  In 185 career starts he has had 87 starts where he allowed one or no runs in a start.

Florida Sports Man wants the Falcons to take Kyle Pitts at #4 and then Kyle Trask in the second round.   I'm still not sold on Trask but as a Jets fan not sold on Zach Wilson either.
We both are not fans of the man on second to start every extra inning in MLB.   I know they don't want the games going on forever but this doesn't work.   If they don't do it during the first nine innings why do it in extra innings?  
Gonzaga was this their best shot at a national title?  Florida Sports Man thinks they blew their best chance.  Baylor was the better team and the game which was a dud was the most watched basketball game since Game 6 of the 2019 finals between the Raptors and Warriors.  Magic vs Bird wasn't a great game either back in 1979.

James Harden out at least ten days because of an injured hamstring.   Let him get healthy for the  Nets playoff run.
I keep hearing Sam Darnold is only 23.  Didn't see much in his three years as a Jet.   And don't feel that Zach Wilson is going to fare any better then Darnold did in my humble opinion.  I hope I am proved wrong because it's getting tiring rooting for a franchise that is constantly rebuilding.

Florida Sports Man joined me on Episode #800 and he was trying to tell me that Dan Mullen is a Florida great on the same coaching level as Urban Meyer and Steve Spurrier.   C'mon man.
Gary Harris who came to the Magic for Aaron Gordon will get a first round pick for them over the summer.  I told him to look forward to the Mexico City Magic winning the NBA title in 2172.

3 PAC 12 teams in the elite 8 of the Men's tournament.  And Baylor Men's and Women's teams both in the Elite 8 tonight.  But I am rooting for UCONN women over Baylor tonight.
Deshaun Watson now has 19 women coming forward with charges against him.
Opening day is now three days away.   Yankees I have going 95-67.  Mets I'm thinking about it. Will get to it.
