40 year anniversary of Frank Viola and Ron Darling both pitching 11 shutout innings and Darling taking a no hitter into the 12th inning.  NCAA baseball playoff game.  VIola's St. John's team but Darling's Yale team 1-0 in 12 innings.  
Are we shocked that Tim Tebow leads NFL jersey sales this morning?  Now he just has to make the  team.
So we get Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder for a third time this summer.  Anthony Joshua isn't happy.

Steph Curry is freaking amazing to watch.  Lebron hits GW but can he take the Lakers back to back?  I don't think so.  But Lakers first time in 30 years a #7 seed is favored over a #2 seed.  Devin Booker and Suns are going to be ready.  
Corey Kluber no hitter for Yanks last night and I missed it.  
Jimmy Butler is ready for Bucks.   Man is jacked.

Columbus SC doesn't have the same ring as Columbus Crew.  #savethecrew only name that works.
Ten months ago Stanford claimed finances and cut eleven sports teams.  Yesterday they're all back.  Glad they got their books in order.

Props to Steph Curry on winning scoring title at 33.  Only MJ did it at that age and 46 in season finale win over Grizz.  Made 5.3 three pointers a game also besting his previous record of 5.1.   We will never see another one like him.  GS goes to Staples to take on Lebron and Lakers Wednesday night at 10pm on ESPN.  I'm staying up for that one.
FCS championship game should have been on ABC.   Congrats on first title Sam Houston State.

Kobe Exhibit at Basketball HOF designed by his wife Vanessa.  I need to make a trip to Springfield.
NBA season ends Sunday.   And tomorrow night for the first time since February 13th the Big 3 will be in when the Nets host the Bulls.  5-2 so far this season with the Big 3.  Time to get that chemistry going for the playoffs.
Congrats to Avalanche winning the Presidents Trophy for best overall record in NHL.  But regular season doesn't mean much during the playoffs.  
WNBA season starts today.  Can't wait to watch Sabrina Ionescu and the Liberty.

Mets 7 game winning streak and they clobbered Matt Harvey formerly The Dark Knight and the O's 7-1 in a matinee today.  
Knicks lost 101-99 to the Lakers last night and fell from the 4th seed to the 6th.   They need to win their last three games of the season to avoid the Bucks or Nets in the first round.
NFL schedule comes out tonight but week one has Zach Wilson and the Jets heading to Charlotte to meet Sam Darnold and the Panthers.   Season opens up Thursday night with Dak and the Boys heading to TB to face TB12 and the Bucs.  Giants host Broncos and maybe Aaron Rodgers?

Congrats to Mr. Westbrook for breaking Big O's 47 year old record with his 182 triple double tonight in a 125-124 loss in Atlanta to the Hawks.  28 points, 13 rebounds and 21 assists.  Those are video game numbers.
Bob Baffert blames the positive drug test for Medina Spirit on a groom's cough syrup contaminated pee on the hay the horse ate.   I call bullshit.
UNC Men's and Women's soccer teams both competing in their respective College Cups this weekend.   Final Four of college soccer.  Not too shabby.  Go Heels!

Congrats to UNC Women's Field Hockey for beating Michigan 4-3 in OT.  Three-peat!!!!  UNC Men and Women's Lax #1 seeds in their respective national tournaments.  
Mets fifth straight win today but more concerned about the health of Jacob deGrom.
DK Metcalf wanted to test his speed against world class athletes.  I saw 10.36 and 10.37 which would have been good enough to win gold in the 100M in the 1932 Olympics.

Congrats to Kelsey Koelzer on becoming the first black woman's ice hockey coach at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA.  She started the team from scratch.
Shohei Ohtani is doing things that no player has ever done pitching and hitting.   Too bad he didn't want to come play for the Yanks.
Lakers are in danger of becoming part of the play in tournament.   Lebron get well soon.

Rangers did a major shakeup of their front office and were fighting at the opening puck vs the Capitals tonight.  Mark Messier wants to come work for the franchise.  Do it!
John Means first complete game no hitter for Orioles since Jim Palmer vs the Yanks in 1969.  He faced only 27 but didn't get the perfect game because of a wild pitch on a strike three and the Orioles won in Seattle 6-0.  
I understand that the NFL has rules but not all players work out only at team facilities.   Players live in other cities and have their own trainers.   Walter Payton had a hill built behind his house.  Jerry Rice had legendary workouts.   Owners just trying to create a bigger wedge with the players.   We pay to watch the players not the owners or Goodell hugging the new draft picks.
