Howdy folks!
Time for an evening run this today. Mostly because the day got away from me today but I'll explain all that. Enjoy!
In the Evening - Led Zeppelin
Howdy folks!
Well I'm back and I've got Good News! More on that in the show. Yes, you have to listen to find out. In this episode we'll chat about training plans, thoughts for the remainder of 2025 and....did I mention I have Good News?! Enjoy!
Call Me The Breeze - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Howdy folks!
Well back for another episode. This is episode 6. It should be Episode 9 for all the content I've created but once again time to do post production, short as it is, has been non-existent. That's a fancy way to say I've been busy. Today's run had me talking about airports for some odd reason so the title seemed appropriate. Enjoy!
Jet Airliner - Steve Miller Band
Howdy folks!
Well the hot and sticky weather is finally here. We're lucky in south central PA that we have enough warm weather to acclimate to it but not so much that it ever becomes our norm. I enjoy the change of seasons, although winter could be a weekend and I'd be happy. All that said, summer is my favorite season! Some like it hot. Enjoy!
Some Like It Hot - The Power Station
Howdy folks!
Just getting back into my routine again after two weeks of travel and nasty weekend weather. You know how it is to get back into a routine? If not, I'm going to tell you. Enjoy!
Do It Again - Steely Dan
Howdy folks!
This episode is from Rochester NY on the banks of the Genesee River and Lake Ontario. I had the chance to check out the Genesee River Trail while visiting my mother. Very nice trial! It was an even nicer morning for a run! Now after some vacation it's time to get back into my routine. Enjoy!
This episode's title is from the 1979 Spyro Gyra song Morning Dance. (Who are from Buffalo, not Rochester. My bad.)
Howdy folks!
Well I'm back with episode 2. So far this year I've been lucky to dodge the raindrops when a training day arrives and today was no different. We've had plenty of rain this month so I hope my luck continues to hold.
In this episode I'll do my usual running update and then it's time for my first 8 mile run in at least 8 months, possibly a year. I'll end with some special news about this podcast. Special to me at any rate. Thanks for the download! Enjoy!
Have you ever seen the rain? - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Hello! I'm JD and this is my running journey podcast. It's a place where I can talk to you about the challenges and triumphs from running. And I'm not talking about races I've won or PRs I've attained. Running affects me in so many aspects of my life it takes a bit of time to explain. My hope is that, in edition to being entertained, you'll think of me as your running pal whose going through this with you.
Special thank you to The Jefferson for their song Running at the beginning and end of the show. It's a great song and for $1.25 from you favorite music service would fit nicely in your running playlist!
Thanks for the download and I hope to see you, and maybe a friend for the next episode!
Enjoy!
