Caddex Herrera is a local multi media artist and educator specializing in Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography and Video Production. His work integrates the clients' goals with creative and innovative solutions that convey well informed decisions through concept, research and skill.  He came up with the idea for the George Floyd Memorial at the Cup Foods building that has now become a memorial that many have visited this week.

FATHER MICHAEL JONCAS is a Christian musical composer best known for writing “On Eagle’s Wings,” a beloved song performed at churches across the globe.  The St. Paul priest has penned another piece this spring, this time sparked by the coronavirus. Called “Shelter Me,” it already is being performed across the nation in virtual masses and posted on YouTube videos from Minnesota to Manila.  He happens to be the brother of our JOE JONCAS, and joins Jearlyn to reflect on this time, and what the church means to people.

This past week, Two Twin Cities churches and several business owners are calling on Gov. Tim Walz to end what they call an unconstitutional and draconian scheme to close them during the pandemic, saying the partial shutdown has violated their constitutional rights.  John Bruski, the Pastor of Northland Baptist Church in St Paul, one of the churches filing suit, and Doug Seaton, an attorney for the Upper Midwest Law Center, join Jearlyn.
