It's the Mom & Michael Hour on Steele Talkin' with Jearlyn Steele.  The two discuss the new Avenger's movie and whether or not it's all it lives up to all the hype.

Jearlyn puts on her boogie shoes for Center Stage this week when she chats with The Jolly Pops, a group of musician dads who have a new kids music CD out.  She also chats with beloved Twin Cities legend Roxanne Battle about a new production at the Full Circle Theater called Under This Roof, a two act play that deals with love and marriage in the 1940s.

A group of MInnesota parents say county child protection agencies are kidnapping their children and placing them in foster care without cause. And they claim it's happening at alarming rates to African American parents.  More than 500 parents have come together to say enough is enough.  They want legislation to change the laws.

President Donald Trump said at a rally that he should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for brokering cooperation between North and South Korea. Jearlyn gives her opinion on it and takes listeners calls on whether they believe he has earned the award.

Jearlyn's favorite part of the evening is the hour she shares with her son Michael Battle who lives in California.  This week's Mom & Michael hour features movie reviews, tuxedo talk and a lot of laughter.

Jearlyn shares the personal story about how her father was killed by a drunk driver as she talks to officials with April being Distracted Driving Awareness Month. She also chats about how large companies like Starbucks and Sun Countries handles crisis management with Paul Omodt.

She also talks airline safety after the recent fatal Southwest flight that left one person dead and hundreds of passengers traumatized when an engine failed.
