Jeff Larentowicz, midfielder for Atlanta United, joined The Morning Show with John Fricke and Hugh Douglas to talk about the team’s first regular season game against the Houston Dynamo this Saturday. Larentowicz said the feeling in camp is different than in their inaugural season because they know what to expect in Year 2.

With the addition of midfielders Darlington Nagbe and Ezequiel Barco, Larentowicz said “They really just drive the team forward and they make us more potent offensively.”

He also talked about the increased pressure this season after the success they had in Year 1.

“The expectations are so high and we have to perform for real,” said Larentowicz. ​
