Despite women making up most of the of the nearly 9 million members of Jehovah's Witnesses (including doing the bulk of the door to door preaching work) the self proclaimed 'mouthpiece of God on earth,' the Governing Body, continue to foster an often dangerous culture where women are disrespected and minimized. Let's look at some examples, including 'inspiring' comments made about women from their leadership and publications over the past century.
