Jen, Gabe & Chewy

Happy Fat Tuesday! Jen refuses to say the word 'fat', so Gabe & Chewy try to understand why. Then the crew goes through their favorite larger sports figures (or fathletes), taking submissions from fans. And it's also a Power Rankings Tuesday, so everyone submits their top/bottom months.

It's another snowy morning, which means Chewy tells the crew why people on the roads probably hated him this morning. Plus, what's the deal with acronyms? Our pal Jason Wilde hops on the line and we wrap the hour discussing Jalen Johnson's decision to leave Duke and prepare for the NBA Draft.

The crew continues to receive fan submissions for a show motto and gives some grades for them, they discuss ring-chasers in sports and whether JJ Watt qualifies as one, Chewy gives the world some new words, and maritime law is discussed.

The show opens with Jen asking for fans to come up with a show motto, then everyone gives their Number 1s and Number 2s from the weekend. Jen asks the guys when it's OK be concerned about the Bucks, wanting to understand why it is that Gabe says the regular season doesn't matter, and the hour wraps up with a conversation on JJ Watt in Green Bay.

Jen talks about how the butterfly effect might impact some of the Darwin Day submissions, which means Chewy learns what the butterfly effect is. Clayton Kershaw makes some comments about how baseball works, which the show doesn't seem to agree on, and there's breaking news about JJ Watt!

It's Darwin Day! The show spends time discussing some of the dumbest teams and players in sports, dives deep into the idea of knowledge and if having information has to be correct to count towards knowledge, and talk about things they miss thanks to the pandemic.

Jen wants to know why Ryan Braun's potential retirement isn't getting more love, so Gabe and Chewy try to explain why. The baseball conversation continues during the Top 8 at 8, and things wrap up with Gabe and Chewy doing their best to come up with an equivalent of Ryan Braun on the Packers.

Chewy's in Tampa not far from where the Buccaneers celebrated their Super Bowl victory which brings up memories for Jen about covering championship parades in the past. Jason Wilde hops on to talk grudges, the crew talks about what it means that Mike Pettine decided to take a job with the Bears, and talk about Chewy's night of drinking.

The conversation about whether Russell Wilson (or any players) should have say in team decisions continues and it's time to rant about things during Take Out The Trash. Plus, Christian Yelich has a Chipotle-For-Free card, so the show discusses what place they'd want similar access to, and wrap up talking about Carson Wentz.

The show opens with a discussion on which member of the panel would make the best Sasquatch and transitions to a discussion on quarterbacks wanting input in personnel decisions after Russell Wilson told Dan Patrick he believed he should be involved.
