Kept In the Unhindered Flow When wealth or weapons or wisdom hinders the heart, head and hand of those separated for faith and faithfulness. Boundaries and their beauty... My friends... If we're having trouble with God's boundaries, we're probably just looking at them the wrong way. If we'll ask Him to give us eyes to see them the way He sees them... then our hearts will embrace and love them for what they are. Boundaries are a beautiful thing when we embrace their purpose, and not their limitations! No One — Walks To the Beat of Their Own Drum I love this insight from Jeremiah... listen how he explains us all. "O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walks to direct his own steps..." (Jeremiah 10:23) Say it with me? EVERYONE, yes, EVERYONE is INFLUENCED by someone or something... NONE OF US are as independent in our thinking as we thought. NO ONE is an INDEPENDENT thinker that walks to the beat of his own drum. Someone or something is influencing you... and their influence didn't start today. You've learned and cultivated what they showed you to fit into your own life. And it's in your (our) best interest to know who or what it is. Jeremiah realized he had been mislead and he's now confessing and asking the Lord to direct his steps away and out of the wrong influence that had manipulated his life. BUT with God there's always hope, even when our past has been grossly tainted with the wrong kind of love. Paul reminds the church that God takes it personal when it comes to teaching His own children how to love. And He's the best TEACHER and EXAMPLE and INFLUENCER I know. Think about it? His love isn't a quitter... His love can't fail... His love doesn't make excuses... C'mon... say it with me? Jacked up love is a quitter... Jacked up love will fail... Jacked up love makes excuses... Parents are usually the ones who teach their kids how to love... that's why we have so many jacked up people loving each other with a tainted and jacked up kind of love. Not all love is the same... nor is ALL love equal! And to think it is... is proof how out of whack our ideas can be. A jacked up love is a love twisted…

Let Them Glory — In This What a person knows or don't know about Jesus will be manifested in how they speak of Him, how they submit and surrender to His message, how they treat His messengers and how they undergird and undertake the work and advancement of the kingdom. False teachers break you down, to build up their lies and falsehoods in your life, that they may be exalted in what they have, so they can take what you have, without you realizing you've been deceived. (2 Corinthians 11:20) God's servants are used by Him to tear down the lies, pull down the strongholds and cast down every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, in your life, that they can edify you and build up the body of Christ, so the Lord can be exalted and magnified through you and your faith obedience to the truth. Consumed WITH Stupidity The brutish of Jeremiah's day… (Jeremiah 10) We live in a snake bitten world. The venom sinks deep to the core of a person and begins to rotten and decay the value of a persons perceptions and perspectives. The bite is very deadly and extremely deceptive, because it doesn't immediately kill or give you any indication you've encountered a snake or it killer poison. It only takes one bite and your death is sure but you don't know it. The strike goes unnoticed and the rot and decay of the power of it poisoning is so slow you continue to live unaware of its bite. And the longer you live, without the antidote, though you're a dead man walking, with every new strike, that serpents venom becomes more and more noticeable. Too many live and die having never overcome the serpents strike. One of the great values of Proverbs is how it helps us recognize and repel the snakes of this world that would love to sink their fangs into our lives. It warns us of what to look for, where they hang out, how they think, who they're looking for and how to spot them in life. My grand arrow, Holden, can't distinguish the difference in a rattlesnake or a rat snake or an earth worm. So, he'll need to be taught, guided and instructed by someone who can see and make a distinction in the difference between that which is deadly and harmless. Proverbs, like Holden's parents or grandparents, guide, teach, instruct and warn me of what is full of life and full of death. Don't be fooled by the vipers of this society, who are full of death, they'll poison you as sure as they are poison. And if God's wisdom isn't guiding you, that you can guide and warn others, you're already been bit

Amend Your Ways — Stigmas A demand and directions for change… Stigmas and bends that can only cripple and crush a people. When the prophet is told to no longer pray snd intercede for those who would not ANEND their ways. Proverbs and Isaiah unveil to us, on several levels, how they can and why they do. When men are blinded to their own blindness, warped in their own knowledge and wisdom and encouraged and strengthened in their own lies and deception, by the culture they live among... falsehood just "seems" right and truth will inevitably "seem" wrong. Therefore, they find LIFE and PEACE in their own hopes and dreams. And though the journey is hard and wearisome at times... they find what is necessary, in life and not from the Lord, to not be overwhelmed with grief and despair. And, in most cases, this life becomes their contentious feast and aspirations... and very little to no time is spent seeking and living for Jesus or preparing for the eternal life to come. And like cooking a pan of mushrooms, they'll "jam all they can fit in their daily lives" and then "season it up" with whatever "they like" to make life more enjoyable. The Problem... It SEEMS Right One of the saddest things about deception... is that those who are deceived are the ones who are in the dark about their deception. And when you've enjoyed a lifelong feast, it's nearly impossible to anticipate a coming famine. Going Dark… We take a look at the foundation of much of Jeremiah's troubles found in Isaiah. Isaiah 2 helps us see one of the primary reasons for all the mess Jeremiah is facing. The people were in the dark… they had gone dark. They had pulled down the blinds on the light of God. And the consequences resulted in a Nation in the Ditch. All this is such a vivid commentary of our modern times. I pray this word on Isaiah 2 will find you seeking the King and His gentle light on this beautiful day. I love the fact that His light illuminates our darkness and provides us with answers, hope and comfort for the issues we must face today and tomorrow. When any society, unwisely and ignorantly, finds life within itself (Isaiah 2:22), and as a whole doesn't seek help and answers from above, but goes rogue in its rebellion, it sees their own growth and modern advancements, as progress. But what God sees is something entirely different. He doesn't see some of it as progress, but quite the contrary. He knows where it's headed, and that's why He warns us and gives us these signs. He, better than anyone, can see what some call progress is just another step toward the threshold of judgment.
