In this episode the Jerks explore why some actors have never made the jump from network TV to the "Silver Screen." We explore those actors whom have tried to leverage their relevance in television into a film career but for one reason or another, just couldn't cut it. Tim and Phil give their theories as to why those like Clooney flourish, why the Scwimmer's of Hollywood stay trapped "in the box" of television.

Heyooo Season 2 is here!! The Jerks are expanding the subject matter they cover in season 2 and opening up with an episode on Finales and the difficulty shows have wrapping up and rounding out the story lines and character arcs that audiences have grown put stake in. The Jerks lay out the scripted stories that, in our opinion, were able to provide satisfying endings and were also able to appeased audiences and the theories as to how and why they were able to pull it off well.

Not sure if anyone, including us, anticipated the Jerks podcast having any sort of longevity... but here we are at the Season 1 Finale!!!!! Phil and Tim have really enjoyed the opportunity to share their thoughts, thought processes (in Tim's case), and theories on how movies and movie culture have influenced all of our lives whether we recognized it or not. In our season finale we take the time to answer the questions submitted by you, our listeners, on all things that go into a Jerks episode. As we travel across states in our mobile studios, in part two of our "Jerks in the Blind" approach, Tim wants to discuss why our home state, New Hampshire, produces a seemingly disproportionate amount of widely known celebrities.
