Jesus Culture Sacramento Message of the Week

Life is short, but eternity lasts forever. Pastor Banning reminds us that one day we will stand before God, and what will truly matter are the things we built on the words of Jesus. The titles, achievements, and rewards of this world won’t follow us into eternity. Only what’s rooted in Him will last.

Every Christian has a mandate to be a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ and advance the Kingdom of heaven on earth, and reveal Jesus to a lost and dying world. Pastor Banning Liebscher teaches us that it is impossible to fulfill this mandate without the power of the Spirit. The demonstration of God’s power through the gifts of the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus. Are you using the gift God has given you?

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are alive, and we need every follower of Jesus actively operating in them. Pastor Becky Johnson teaches us about how the gifts of the Spirit are meant to serve others. We are called to give what God has given us.

Many believers wrestle with frustration, confusion, and insecurity when it comes to hearing God’s voice and understanding their calling. In this message, Pastor Mark Kresge reminds us that we don’t have to live in fear of missing God’s call. Instead, he shows us how to discern His leading with confidence and respond in faith.

This week, Pastor Becky shares from Psalm 23 and reminds us that the Lord is our Shepherd. Too often, we try to lead ourselves and carry the weight of life on our own—but true rest and provision are found only when we allow Him to shepherd us. In every season and every need, the question remains: Is He enough?

We need God to move in the nation. Pastor Banning reminds us that the antidote to darkness in the nation is a church that has been awakened—one that is full of faith, full of hope, and constantly praying. The key to staying in this place is to guard our hearts, and stick close to the presence and Word of God in the midst of everything going on around us.

God has called us to fulfill the Great Commission in our generation. In this week’s message, Jeremy Curry, Founder of Fire and Fragrance Himalayas, reminds us that our lives are meant to proclaim the death and resurrection of Jesus. He also shares about Youth With A Mission’s powerful initiative called Every Language—a movement committed to translating the full Bible into every language on earth and sparking discipleship through the process.

God’s justice is not just fair but deeply personal and redemptive. Pastor Banning unpacks how God’s justice and righteousness flow from His holiness, setting the standard for what is right and wrong.

All of God’s attributes are connected to His holiness. Pastor Banning reminds us that the Christian life is a response to the revelation of God’s holiness. Without understanding it, we can’t see God for who He is or become like Him, and He longs for us to look like Him.

This week Pastor Becky Johnson unpacks the “Omni” nature of God, His power, presence, and knowledge, and how these truths silence our smallest and greatest fears.
