Whatever shame or struggle you are facing, Jesus has paid for it and desires to draw you close. Whatever bitterness or hurt still plagues your mind and your interactions, Jesus empowers us to forgive and to find peace and love in our broken relationships here on earth. Bring your burdens, mistakes, and your hurts to Him. Lay them at the foot of cross, where He paid for them, and forgave you, just as He forgave the thief on the cross who recognized the identity and power of our Lord on the cross.

Today’s scripture reading is Luke 23:33-34, and we’ll be praying through the Scriptures using the REST format:

Recite God’s Goodness

Express Your Neediness

Seek His Stillness

Trust His Faithfulness
