Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

Today Pastor Daniel begins a new message series exploring truths that span generations and centuries, and which still apply to us today! As we study the book of Isaiah, we'll be reminded that our Creator, the all-powerful God, is also a God of love and comfort! He has given us hope in the midst of trials, and it's our job now to share that hope with the rest of the world. When we encounter division and strife, we need to interject God's love!

Sometimes we look at our lives and wonder where exactly things went wrong. We're suddenly far away from God, and life has us twisted up in knots. Today Pastor Daniel tells us that it's likely we made small decisions farther back on our path that may have seemed innocent at the time, but shifted us the wrong direction. Small movements away from truth eventually lead to a mess, but Jesus will always be there to help us untangle the mess!

Sometimes people question if God really loves them as much as He says. You may even feel that way today! You may be thinking that what you've done in your life is too horrible for God to even consider you worthwhile. But today, Pastor Daniel wants you to know that you ARE loved by God! He sent His Son to die in your place, and the forgiveness He offers covers all of your sins! No matter your past, today you can come to Jesus and receive His grace!

As followers of Jesus, we're called to live a different life than the ones of people who don't know the Savior. This doesn't mean we develop our own persona! Pastor Daniel will tell us today that we have a model for this new life – Jesus, the One we're following! His life shows us how we should interact with others and what we should prioritize. As we develop the same characteristics as Jesus, other people will notice and likely want to know more!

In today's message, Pastor Daniel will ask us to examine where we're placing our priorities. We may think what we're doing is good, but does it have eternal value? God tells us that there are three things that will last forever – God, people, and the Bible. The rest is really just temporary, and will one day be gone. Today as you listen, let God point out the things in your life that maybe need to take a backseat, and open your eyes to HIS priorities!

We can't let opposition to our faith discourage us from sharing the Gospel message! However, we also can't let ourselves be surprised when people do oppose it. Pastor Daniel will share today that persecution is part of hearing the truth! People will push back against God for many reasons, and the enemy will always be working against us. We have to keep telling people about Jesus, though, and giving them the chance to know forgiveness!

Today's message with Pastor Daniel will have something for everyone, no matter how you feel about Jesus! Salvation is a simple message, but how we accept it and what we do when we have will cause great ripple effects through our lives. As we study the grace and love that brought Jesus to the earth to die for our sins, we'll start to see just how much we needed Him, and how patient He's been with us throughout our lives!

Once we become sons and daughters of God, our lives begin to change. Pastor Daniel will share today that this transformation, though it takes time, is one that creates a new life for us. We start to do things out of a love and gratefulness for the grace we've been given! We strive to learn more about Jesus and cling to His truth, and offer hope to the world around us. We don't want to go backwards – there's nothing worthwhile there for us anyway!

Bad advice can come from anywhere, and can catch us off guard. In today's message, Pastor Daniel will warn us to be on our guard for bad advice when it comes to spiritual matters! While it may sound good for our time here on earth, the teaching we receive and adopt may just send us the wrong direction for our eternal resting place! The place we find truth and solid teaching is always in the Bible, no matter what we hear!

In order for God to be perfect, He must also be a God of judgement. This may be a hard concept to attach ourselves to, but Pastor Daniel will share today why this has to be true! If God were only loving and forgiving for everything, there would be no justice! God does still give ample time to repent and turn from sin, showing just how merciful He is. However, at some point God's patience will be gone, and judgement will come on the earth!
