Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

God is calling us home. It's not our temporary dwelling we know now – our home is in Heaven with Him! There's a longing in our hearts to be with God, but sin has separated us from Him. Pastor Daniel wants us to remember today that we can still be with God because of the loving sacrifice He provided! Through Jesus blood we're set free from the hold sin has on us. We can take that new life and live it for God, and one day we'll be with Him forever!

Who we surround ourselves with dictates a lot of how we act and how we perceive this life! It's easy to let others influence us, and if they're suggesting things that aren't of Jesus, we'll find ourselves straying. In today's message, Pastor Daniel reminds us how important it is to not only look to Jesus for our guidance, but to make sure those closest to us are encouraging us to do the same. We too need to be pointing our friends to Jesus!

It's difficult sometimes to remember the blessings when all we're experiencing is the trials! In today's message, Pastor Daniel will remind us how important it is to remember where God has stepped into our lives and saved us. It might not be slavery from Egypt as He did for the Israelites, but it's significant to you! God has saved us from the greatest trial of all, in fact. He rescued us from the death that our sins deserve, and gives us grace every day!

The Israelites always had a choice – they could follow God, or turn away from Him! While going their own way seemed profitable at the time, they soon realized that it came with curses and trials that so easily could have been avoided. Pastor Daniel will share in today's message just how far and devastating the consequences of these actions could be, and he'll warn us to not make the same mistakes! We need to choose to follow God always!

God often gives chances to repent and start fresh. His grace covers all of our sins, and therefore we can come to Him again and again with our mistakes! How different would history have been if the Israelites, and all of us, repented immediately when we realized our sins? Pastor Daniel asks us today to consider the areas of our lives we're keeping from God, and be open to letting Him work in us! We can grow with God if we're willing!

The world rarely speaks with the true love of God. This love that has the power to change lives is kept quiet, not shared and spread as it needs to be. Pastor Daniel will tell us today that love is something we're called to give to every person, everywhere! Jesus came to die for everyone's sins, and that extravagant act deserves to be shared far and wide! With Jesus help, we can work on changing this dark world by spreading the light!

Just like a New Year's Resolution, we can change our priorities and renew our walk with Jesus every day! We may have made mistakes yesterday, but that doesn't have to define tomorrow! Pastor Daniel reminds us that today we can start following Jesus again, and if we mess up, we can still start fresh tomorrow! If we bring our sins to Jesus, He'll forgive us every time! We need to do our best to follow Him, but we live covered by grace every day!

Sadly, people take advantage of the week and underprivileged. Those vulnerable in society are picked out by the stronger to be taken advantage of and hurt for no good reason. Pastor Daniel reminds us that we are NOT to be like this! Followers of the perfect and loving God need to stand up for the vulnerable, showing kindness and grace at all times! Human beings tend to think they're right, no matter what the topic is. Pride jumps to the forefront and humility is pushed aside daily! This can be true even for followers of God! We're all sinful, and daily need to die to ourselves to let our Lord in. Pastor Daniel reminds us today that we need to let God dictate what we do – after all, He actually is right! Studying God's Word isn't a one time thing – we need to seek His guidance again and again! In today's message, Pastor Daniel urges us to spend time in the Bible in order to keep us safely in God's plan for our lives! If we let that routine slip away, we'll be more likely to be seduced by the pleasures of the world. We can fall quickly, so it's important to dive into the Word each and every chance we get! With God's help, we can stay on track!
