Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

Pastor Daniel brings up an interesting idea today – if you were the only one on earth who needed to be rescued from sin, Jesus would've STILL come down to earth to die on the cross! That's how passionate He is about each one of us! God knew we'd never be able to do enough to be perfect, and His love for us sent His Son to die in our place. That grace we've received needs to be a catalyst to extend Jesus love to the world around us!

Growing up takes time. We begin life in wonder of the huge world around us, but as the years go by, we gain new perspective and knowledge. This is the same for our relationship with Jesus. Pastor Daniel will remind us today that we need to be patient with ourselves as we grow in Christianity, and we need to extend that patience to others. Instead, we can encourage and help one another along the way, letting Jesus direct our steps!

Jesus was asked some tough questions today, ones that spark some challenges for us too! The Bible teaches that the resurrection is real and is a necessary truth in our lives, but people still don't believe it! If we can't believe that Jesus rose from the dead, how can we believe in eternity? Pastor Daniel wants each of us to examine whether or not we believe in the resurrection, and even more importantly, in Jesus and the Bible!

There are differing views on eternity expressed in society today. Some don't believe in the afterlife, and some believe that it'll just be an extension of what we know now. Pastor Daniel will tell us today that both are incorrect! Jesus teaches us that there is an afterlife. For His followers, that brings us to eternity in Heaven. We're given little snippets in Scripture of what we have to look forward to, but we can be sure it will be nothing like we know now!

As usual, Jesus has a clever and compelling answer for a trick question in today's message. The religious elite did their best to trap Him by diving into political discussions, much as the world does to us even today! As we'll learn from Jesus through Pastor Daniel, though, we need to approach these topics from our place as sons and daughters of God. We are images of our Creator, and need to reflect His heart and priorities before our own!

Our lives aren't lived anonymously. What we do is seen by others – our actions and our words alike. These things need to line up with the heart and priorities of our Creator! Today Pastor Daniel digs into the touchy subject of politics, sharing Jesus perspective on the matter. He also challenges us to look at how we're conducting ourselves when it comes to our own discussions on this matter. In it all, we need to be bearing Jesus image!

God has invited all of us to be part of His Kingdom work. It looks different for each one of us, but the goal is the same – introduce people to Jesus! Has Jesus called you to do something for Him? Pastor Daniel will remind us today that now's the time to say yes! You may have initially refused, but the call is still waiting. Let what you hear today inspire you to take hold of your own mission, and with Jesus help, step onto that path for your life!

Are we afraid to ask honest questions? Pastor Daniel urges us through today's message to really ponder this question. Sometimes – often, in fact – Jesus asked tough, real questions! These were always necessary and always brought about a clearer understanding of His mission. It's possible that we need to start asking some honest questions of those who oppose us, and especially of ourselves. This might be the key to sharing the Gospel!

If we want to be like Jesus, we need to follow His example. He didn't come into the earth to lead a rebellion or establish His Kingdom with pomp and circumstance. Instead, Jesus chose to serve people. He lead by giving and loving everyone with no strings attached. In today's message, Pastor Daniel tells us that we're to do the same! By serving Jesus, we have to be willing to step into the hard parts of life and show practical love to everyone!

We all have aspirations for our lives – we not only want to prosper ourselves, but we want our friends and family to succeed as well. Achievement and the attempts to get there are normal. Today, Pastor Daniel reminds us that aspiring to be like Jesus is something many want, and should chase! He warns us, though, that we need to be aware of what we're after. Jesus has a different way of leading, and it won't be easy, but it's filled with reward!
