Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

Because Peter was able to identify and believe in who Jesus really is, he was given the privilege of learning his true identity. Jesus wants to do this for each and every one of His followers as well! Today Pastor Daniel will share how our own admission of Jesus sovereignty will start open our hearts up to learning who our Savior knows we are! He will help us learn our true identity in Him, and will lead us down the path we're intended to walk!

Are we underestimating Jesus? That's a question Pastor Daniel asks us to consider during today's message! This new series we begin today takes us deeper into some real questions, and gives some true answers back! As we study today the conversation between Jesus and His followers, we'll need to answer for ourselves who we think Jesus is. And if we're underestimating Him, how can we go about learning the greatness of His identity?

We're not all called to go live in a foreign country as missionaries, and we're not all called to be pastors. However, we are all called to do something! Pastor Daniel shares today that we all have a role to play in the Kingdom of God. It may seem simple to us, but if we're doing what God has asked, then we're doing the right thing! He will give us the tools we need to succeed, and we'll be instrumental in bringing others to know Him!

God is a generous God. He has given us life, free will, and incredible blessings to enjoy every day. He also gave His only Son, a perfect and blameless Son, to come and die for our sins! Jesus paid the ultimate price by taking the punishment for our sins! Now we can be in the family of God, forever! In today's message, Pastor Daniel reminds us of this incredible generosity of our Heavenly Father, urging us to follow his example!

We tend to measure people up to a standard. That standard varies from person to person, but most of the time, no one can measure up. Today Pastor Daniel reminds us that our Creator held us up to His standard, and we did not measure up. However, God changed the scale when He sent Jesus! Now it doesn't matter what we've done – we've been forgiven! That grace now needs to change the measuring stick we use on others.

Pastor Daniel tells us today that though we deserve judgement, Jesus came to rescue us! He knew we'd never measure up to perfection, and we'd forever be separated from God, so He willingly came to earth to take the punishment we deserve! Our pride, though, tends to blind us from this beautiful reality. In order to fully grasp how great our Savior is, we need to take ownership of our faults, and realize that only He can save us!

Today's message takes us to the Old Testament book of Obadiah. Pastor Daniel will share with us the sad but powerful message of how pride can be the downfall of an entire nation. The Edomite people turned away from God, and turned away from helping their brother nation, the Israelites. We need to learn from their story! Pride is destructive in lives today, and blinds us to the truth of our Savior, and our need for His love and grace!

We were once a lot like Onesemis, the servant we'll continue learning about today. We've been running away from what we knew was right. Even if we've grown up in the faith, there have been times when we've said no to what God has planned! Pastor Daniel will teach us that though we've run away from God, He's pursued us! Once we learn His truth and are ready to say yes to His plans, He's going to put us back on the ground, back in action!

God's doing crazy things in our lives. We may not see them happening all the time, but now and then, it does get a little insane! God has great plans for each of us though, and He's laying out a path that's going to take us on a wild adventure! In today's message, Pastor Daniel encourages us to embrace the crazy, because it leads to so much life and hope! We'll do a lot for God's Kingdom when we let Him direct all of our steps!

Even as followers of Christ, we may feel unqualified to do the tasks He's calling us to. Pastor Daniel reminds us that this just isn't true! Today we'll be introduced to a former servant who, before meeting the Apostle Paul, was ineffective in all he did. However, because of Jesus, he now was a testimony to the power of redeeming grace! We've been transformed as well, and therefore are useful – and needed – members of the body of Christ!
