全てがあなたのため、私のためではない

(マルコ 10:42-44 ALIVE訳)その状況を知ったイエスは、みんなを呼び集めた――「外国人には権力者がいるよな。知ってのとおり、権力者は自分の力を見せつけるのが大好きだ。そしてその権力者に仕える指導者たちもまた権力を振りかざすのがたまらなく好きだ。(43)いいか、おまえたちは、そうであっちゃいけない！上に立ちたいなら、喜んで彼らに仕えるんだ。(44)１番になりたいなら、召使いのように彼らに仕えるんだ。

イエスは自らを主であり、サムライ(侍)であると明らかにした

(マルコ 10:45 ALIVE訳)この人は、仕えてもらうためではなく、仕えるために来た！！！それは、俺の命と引き換えに、人が救われるためだ・・・！！！」

他の人の思いで仕えたのではなく、自らの思いで

(ヨハネ 10:17 ALIVE訳)私が、再び生命(いのち)を得るために、生命いのちを差し出すからこそ、父は私を愛しています。–

1. 新しい性質をもって主に仕える

(2 ペテロ 1:3-4 リビング訳)キリストを知れば知るほど、その偉大な力を通して、私たちが神に従う正しい生活を送るために必要なすべてのものをいただくことができるのです。そればかりかキリストは、ご自分の栄光と共に敬虔や品性をも、私たちに与えてくださるのです。

2. 喜びと力強さとをもって仕える

(詩篇 100:2 リビング訳)喜びをもって主に仕え、喜びの歌を歌いつつ、神の御前に進み出なさい。

(ネヘミア 8:10b リビング訳)神様を喜ぶことこそ、あなたがたの力なのだ。

3.目的とビジョンをもって仕える

(ローマ 12:6a ALIVE訳)神はすべての人に十人十色の、特別でユニークな能力を恵んでくれた。

4.仕えるために神様に触れられた（油注ぎ）

(出エジプト 36:2 口語訳)そこで、モーセはベザレルとアホリアブおよびすべて心に知恵ある者、すなわち、その心に主が知恵を授けられた者、またきて、その工事をなそうと心に望むすべての者を召し寄せた。

5.私たちは報われている – 今も天国でも

(マルコ 10:29-31 ALIVE訳)「約束する！！！誰でも最高な知らせ(ゴスペル)である“俺”のために自宅や兄弟姉妹、父と母に子ども、財産までも差し置いた者は、(30)敵も増えるが、100倍の家や兄弟姉妹、母、子、財産を与えられる！後に行く世界では永遠の命さえ与えられる・・・！！！(31)その時には、この世でいばった者の身分は最も低くされ、へりくだった者の身分は最も高くされる！！！」

「私とヴィヴは日本でおもてなしを受けるために来たのではない。イエスに仕えるために来た。そして、特別な目的をもって、神様の栄光を日本の素晴らしい人たちに反映するために来たのだ。」

(ピリピ 2:5-11 ALIVE訳)イエス・キリストの考え方なのだから見習いなさい。(6)彼は神なのに、人の最善を思い、 神としての権利を要求したり、それに執着したりはしなかった。(7)かえって、その偉大な力と神という地位を捨てて、 奴隷の地位を受け入れ、人間と同じように、その生涯を歩んだ。(8)そればかりか、神のためにさらに腰を低くし、まさに極悪人同様に、十字架上で殺されてまでも神に従った。(9)しかし、だからこそ、神はイエスの地位を頂点まで引き上げ、どの名よりも最高の名を授けた。(10)それは、その名のもとに、すべてのものが、天でも地上でも地下でもひざまずき、(11)すべての口が“イエス・キリストが王だ”と告白し、父なる神がほめたたえられるためだ。

‘It’s not all about you or me’.

(Mark 10:42-44) Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. (43) Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, (44) and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.

Jesus reveals self as Lord and Samurai.

(Mark 10:45) For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

He was not a servant by another’s will, but by his own desire

(John 10:17) The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again.

1. We Serve THE LORD With A New Nature

(2 Peter 1:3) His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

2.We Serve With Joy And Strength

(Psalm 100:2) Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.

(Nehemiah 8:10b) For the joy of the Lord is your strength.

3.We Serve With Purpose And Vision

(Romans 12:6a) We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.

4.We Are Touched By God (Anointed) To Serve

(Exodus 36:2) Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work.

5.We Are Rewarded – Now And In Heaven.

(Mark 10:29-31) “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel (30) will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life. (31) But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
