1.Jesus loved his family

John 2:1-3 NIV

On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, (2) and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. (3) When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”

2.Jesus had real and dynamic relationship with his mum - (The party is about to begin!)

John 2:3-5 NIV

When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” (4) “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” (5) His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”

3.Jesus wants to help your family (including your mum) too

Jeremiah 31:12 NLT

They will come home and sing songs of joy on the heights of Jerusalem. They will be radiant because of the Lord’s good gifts— the abundant crops of grain, new wine, and olive oil, and the healthy flocks and herds. Their life will be like a watered garden, and all their sorrows will be gone.
