* Jim Crow had at its purpose preventing black people from voting using things like literacy tests and poll taxing
* Heres what this bill would do
* It would seize the authority from the states under our constitution
* The states run federal elections
* Keep in mind this is the United States of America
* It would compel the states to provide for early voting with specific dates and times
* Elections are only one day!!!!!
* Automatic voter registration
* Same day registration
* Online voter registration
* No fault absentee voting
* Essentially means you don’t need a reason to use absentee voting
* This defeats the purpose of absentee voting!!!!!
* This bill breaks down all the security that exists to ensure free and fair elections
* This takes away the verification that the people that are supposed to register are the people that are supposed to register
* They keep trying to make this about Jim Crowe, the party of Jim Crow
* When people vote who aren’t supposed to vote, that takes your vote away regardless of your race
* The corrupt media keeps going along with this
* Instead they keep going on and on about Jim Crowe
* It makes it EASIER to commit fraud
* Same day registration - election officials have no time to verify who is registering
* Somebody could show up at 5 different polling precincts, show up and vote
* Will require states to register all individuals - NOT CITIZENS!!!!
* This will degrade the accuracy of registration lists
* The DMV’s, the departments of corrections and welfare offices and federal departments such as the department of labor, the federal B. of prisons
* A large number of ineligible voters will be eligible to vote!!!!
* Aliens
* Multiple / duplicate registrations of same individuals
* Requires states to allow state citizens to vote in other precincts aside from their own!!!!
* This is destroying the structure of the election system!!!
* Mandates no fault absentee ballots
* Tool of choice for mass voter fraud
* Takes away notarization requirements for absentee ballots
* Forces states to receive absentee ballots up to 10 days later!!
* Forces states to allow voter harvesting
* So any 3rd parties, including campaign staffers and political consultants can pick up and deliver absentee ballots
* Prevents election officials from checking eligibility and qualifications of voters and removing ineligible voters
* Includes restrictions on using US postal services national change of address system in order to verify the address of registered voters
* This would prevent checking on voter registration lists in order to prevent people from being registered in multiple states
* Prevention of removing inactive voters from lists - no matter how much time has elapsed- So now you’re going to have dead people on these lists, people who have moved, people will be on multiple lists - and you’re not allowed to remove them from the lists
* Makes it almost impossible for non-partisan organizations to verify the accuracy of registration rolls
* Media keeps talking about Jim Crowe and African Americans and voter suppression
* What does any of this have to do with voter registration????
* Requires states to restore felons abilities to vote the second they are released
* Regardless of uncompleted parole, probation or restitution requirements
* Transfers the right to draw state Congressional Districts from state legislatures to commissions (whatever the fuck that means)
* Would mandate inclusion of alien population both legal and illegal
* This an an anti-democratic unconstitutional matter
* Has nothing to do with Jim Crowe
* Limits access to federal courts for anybody challenging the law
* Prohibits any lawsuits filed regarding the unconstitutionality of these laws anywhere except in the district court of the district of Columbia
* So you can’t even sue where the violation occurs or where you think it occurs!!!!
* This is insane!!!! That court is left of ________
* They want to control the judicial outcome by bringing it to one of the most liberal courts in the country
* Sets up independent commissions that would force judges to testify about their legal decisions
* This would be a perfect bill for a banana republic
