Inspired by a recent article in this podcast I talk about routine!
Routine is individual, but having one is what can make the day, week and year be a little less hectic and help you keep on track with life goals!
I decided to go with the name bullet-proof athlete.
In this episode I talk about the conversations that I have with my athletes regarding injury prevention.
Expect there to be a non-conclusive answer at the end if injury prevention is what you are striving for, however I do you look at various different topics and protocols that may reduce or minimise the possibility of injury.
The podcast is available on Apple podcast on Spotify and if you want to see my face The video is on my IGTV.
In this episode I talk all things Ramadan.
Initial part I run though a meta analysis of the effects of Ramadan on performance and the second half offering my experience as a coach who has for 12 years trained female athletes throughout the month!
Podcast available on pod bean, Spotify and apple podcast.
In this episode Laura and I open up and chat about our individual and joint journey through three lockdowns.
We all know that it is a “struggle” and it is “hard”. But more often than not that is where the conversation ends, so we wanted to be very open and honest about the challenges we have faced and what we have in our toolbox to make the best out of the situation. We hope to come out the other end as mad about each other as we started and hopefully NOT JUST MAD!!!
Enjoy the listen, the video is also available on you-tube if you prefer a face or two.
Running is one of the most engaged in forms of physical activities and as a fellow runner myself, my goal is to improve my running performance whilst minimising the risk of injury.
When we look at running forums and articles we often hear the words foot strike pattern and running economy, what does it man and should I be changing foot strike? In this episode I talk about all this :)

Welcome to my first podcast in 2021.
This podcast is different. I wanted to showcase the positive side of 2020. I think we can get very caught up in the negative aspects of everything that is out with our control.
In this podcast you will hear many different people, from many different backgrounds, many different situations over the world experiencing and learning the exact same thing.
What is that thing? Understanding that Family, friends, being a nice person to yourself, learning to love and respect yourself enough to make a change and regain clarity should always reign supreme.
Episode number 23
I want to welcome Laura O’Donovan to the podcast she is the founder of Pink Polarbear Training offers training solutions for companies looking to educate their staff and implement strategies to ensure that the working environment is diverse and inclusive for all the staff.
In this episode we talk about what diversity and inclusion means, why we need it, we talk about practical examples of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and what we can do to ensure that we contribute to an inclusive world in general.
Our own experiences with being part of a minority group shape this podcast and we discuss how that has affected us, how we see things developing in the future.
I really enjoyed recording this podcast. I have learnt so much about the world of the diversity and inclusion over the past year and I hope that over the coming years things continue on the trajectory that they currently are moving.
