Fear is going to be there; if we are to grow and learn as individuals, as organisations, as communities, it is essential to accept its presence.
On the path of Courage, Heart Leaders consciously acknowledge fear as a warning sign for what is a caution, not a stop sign. When we are able to look at fear consciously, we can talk about whether our fear is rational. When fear is rational, we can exercise caution and prudence merited by the situation.; when we are in denial of fear we often can't act prudently.
Acknowledging fear allows us to examine possible outcomes and discuss how we can turn each scenario into a winning situation.
