Jiu-Jitsu for Police Officers. He was beaten in a vicious attack. He has used B.J.J. in his career and training other Cops.
Freddy Trillo is our guest. He is a 25 year Miami - Dade Police Officer, with a total of 30 years law enforcement experience. Early in his career, as a rookie he was suddenly attacked in a vicious life and death beating. During the assault, the suspect threw his radio so he couldn't call for backup. During the savage beating the suspect was actively trying to remove Officer Trillo's gun. Freddy discusses the assault and the aftermath. The assault and insufficient self defense training led to his learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Now a black belt in B.J.J. he talks about how he has used the martial art to subdue violent criminals. Plus, he uses his B.J.J. experience to train Law Enforcement Officers and others in self defense.
