If you know me you know, I think Chris Janson is one of the best country music performers, singers, song writers out there. So, it was a really treat for me to bring him on at the Kansas State Fair a month and a half ago. That's where he debuted his new single, "Bye Mom". I chatted with Chris about the new song, the new album, collaborations, TikTok and his weed eater.

It's days like this I really wish we had a webcam in the studio. Between 7a and 7:45 it was a fine ballet of chaos in this studio and I can't remember the last time I was that busy. That's why I love what it is I do. Today we talked about Peta and the Arm Barn (sounds like a weird Halloween story). One more day till the weekend. One of those days where I wasn't sure how it was going to go. I arrived at work and the Chief Engineer was here. That's when you start to worry about technical issues getting in the way of the show. Thankfully, it was one of the other stations in the building (does that make me selfish?). Keith Urban was shown random kindness, Luke Bryan talked Halloween, fun, games, and a couple of important conversations with Chad from Grace Med and Lauren from Beauties and Beasts about their fundraisers.
