Dramarama

have you ever noticed

that plenty of creatives

are always hindered or just

haunted by so many ghosts

and I’m not referring to Casper,

but instead, something sinister

and, most often, addictive things

feed their output, or, their offerings

truly, they can be fueled by too much drama,

or, an over abundance of sweetened caffeine

yet, it seems like their muses manifest them selves as demonic dope fiends, dramarama

“Glow Tonight”

came in through

my tiny window

like slivered

wisp of light

on my nighttime

bed I’m in fright

covered in cold

sweat and woe

the room reels

of frightening

that smell of

doom is huge

turn over within

the burnt dream

whispering to haloed

angels, “glow tonight”

Metallic Wings

the wind whistles outside

as this flying vessel glides

through the white clouds,

the flightless birds envy

our ability to do such

things, metallic wings

cutting free from the world

and playing with gravity...

Bleeding Out, Forevermore

never before, have people

been in such huge uproars...

we walk these torn apart floors,

not looking for brand new doors

we’d rather be the ones with more,

beating everyone’s worldly scores

opening our worn hearts and veins,

bleeding out, forevermore, so sore

Atmosphere (Creating Disaster)

this year is off, and rolling,

those stray bullets coming

down from the atmosphere

to create disaster here, tear

how’s anyone going to keep on moving

when they’re scarred by deep yearning

gaining another new moment,

yet hit the next, true lamenting
