Join us this week on JKMoto as we have a great chat with Lauren Prince, a Moto America Racer, CVMA Racer, Veterinarian and overall motorcycle enthusiast. With a shorter career on 2 wheels than others Lauren received an extremely unique opportunity to race with the Build Train Race (BTR) program sponsored by Royal Enfield. But before we dove super deep into the BTR program and her future with that and motorcycle racing in general we needed to grab some back story. Lauren has some great adventures throughout her life, and has always been fascinated with motorcycles and the two wheel community. From scooter riding in other countries and continents and back to the US to ride with friends and eventually start racing and start and exploding career, Lauren has quite a unique story. So please crank up the volume and join us for another awesome episode!!

On this week's episode as we near ever closer to a full year with JKMoto and closer and closer to the riding season which means racing season also, we decided it was time to catch up with Lugnut and see what he's been up to. From CVMA to CRA to dirt bikes and more Lugnut has been busy!! But not only riding and racing takes up his time, with the Moto America season just around the corner the privateers on the grid are finalizing their sponsorships and getting all the details wrapped up to take their shot at proving they have what it takes to run with the top riders in America. As always it's great to catch up with Lugnut and also get his take on the upcoming motogp season and the huge changes we've seen in the Aero department and all the new (or not so new) liveries on the grid. So please sit back and buckle up for this wild ride with Anthony Norton and the upcoming racing season's of 2024!!

If the temperatures outside are getting near the freezing level or well below zero and you're looking to store some tires, you better have them tucked into a bed with a heated blanket over the winter to prevent damage. In all seriousness this week we had the awesome opportunity to talk with Chris Hamlett the South Central US Pirelli dealer and get some great new info about tires from him. From discussion regarding whether or not you should run slicks, to what the compounds actually mean and what a "sticky" tire really truly is, we cover a lot of great info. Tire pressure changes, tire warmers, rain tires, storing tires, and balancing tires, we cover just about everything, including the life of a tire vendor and we can all help keep our vendors alive so we don't have to bring and change our own tires all the time. So sit back and relax while three men have a great discussion about rubber and go check out Chris and Pirelli if you're in the South Central Area. https://www.scrcracing.com/ (south central racing center) https://www.bittingermotorsports.com/ (bittinger motorsports)
Road racing in the dirt? That was our first question and if definitely got answered this week by the man himself Aaron Stevenson or Coach A. Joining us from Cornerspin in North Carolina Coach A answered all of our questions and hopefully some of yours too! From everyday adventure riders here in the States to racers and road riders in Europe, and an impressive lineup of current racers that have trained with him, Coach A has quite the resume at his school of traction (or maybe the lack thereof) and told us all about it. Known worldwide this school teaches fundamentals of the two-wheel life that many would write off as unnecessary but he has proven time and time again with all of his students trained that these fundamentals are in fact useful and not only useful but vital to a safe and fast life on two wheels. So lay back and kick your feet up (unless you're driving) and enjoy this weeks episode of your favorite motorcycle podcast with our special guest Aaron Stevenson!!

Moto GP is right around the corner and with that two teams have already made their team announcements with new liveries and sponsors! Beyond that of course we're going to speculate on what this season could look like not only for Moto GP but specifically for a certain rider and the team he left. Marc Marquez left the Repsol Honda team as many know, where will that leave HRC and where will Marquez be by the end of the season. Unfortunately, he isn't the only unknown this season as most other rider's contracts also close after 2024. Besides Moto GP we also discuss how motorcycles have come full circle with their prices. Two-wheel transportation was once much more expensive than your standard everyday car but due to the increase in larger vehicle prices, we've seen a big turnaround on that front. So sit back strap in and enjoy an opener to the Moto GP season and plenty of reasons why you should in fact GO BUY THAT BIKE!!
Hang out with us this week as we dive deep into the Utah Superbike Association and get some information on the big changes for the 2024 season! From new information on the air fence issues, to what configurations will be raced onward to how the new two-day racing schedule will pan out and a brief description of all the different classes in the club, this episode truly has it all!! We knew we couldn't figure it all out on our own so we figured who better than the USBA President Dave Meyer! He not only answered all our questions and hopefully yours as well, but also gave us the insight behind the recent changes made by the board and why they have decided that those changes are best. So stick around pause and replay when you need to (it is a lot of info) and don't worry if you miss anything we're planning another episode with David before the 2024 season officially kicks off!!
From an early Kawasaki Ninja through a few CBRs off to an Aprilia and landing finally on the coveted S1000RR our guest this week Mike Bishop has truly ridden it all. Not only different bikes and manufacturers, Mike has also dabbled in many different types of riding and racing on 2 wheels including, of course, track days, club racing, canyon carving, and drag racing. Sit back and relax as we chat with him this week about his many motorcycle adventures and what started his racing career. Being a track/race-focused podcast and channel of course we needed to dwell on the racing and track days for a while, so pay attention as we find out how Mike eventually found his way to the race track and then fell in love with it. Make sure you stick around to hear about his awesome plans moving forward and enjoy the show!!
Join us this week on JKMoto Podcast as we talk with Jeff Whitmer Service Manager for Long Beach BMW Motorcycles, and get some of his great stories. To start off as always we want to know what got Jeff into motorcycles in the first place, what a story that was! From as young as Jeff can remember he's been around and been on two wheels, leading him eventually to a racing career in southern California. Today Jeff works for possibly one of the best BMW dealers in the US right in Long Beach, they and BMW both have a slightly different look on what it is to be a moto dealer and we quite enjoyed their methods. So strap in, sit back, and relax as we get to know Jeff a little more and gain some insight on BMW Motorcycles here in America.
